Q: Is this the same thing as marinara? I bought this but was sent marinara.

A: Pomodoro is close to marinara, it is more of a tomato flavor while mariana has more herbs and is a chunkier pasta sauce. They can be used interchangably.

I am surprised so many people like it, this was the worst pasta sauce I've ever had. I love the truff hot sauce and truff salt, but this was inedible, I almost wonder if I somehow got a bad batch or something.

The flavor of this sauce is unmatched by any other jarred product. I also love the relatively low sugar content. Side note: TRUFF, please consider making an alfredo sauce. I have imagined that product since the first time I purchased the marinara.

Do I love that I now pay over $12 for a small jar of sauce? No! But have I purchased any other sauce since trying this? Also no! The truffle flavor is not overpowering and the base sauce is perfect. Tastes like a high end restaurant pasta every time!

When I opened the jar, I could definitely smell the fragrant truffle. However, upon eating, I wish the sauce had stronger truffle flavor, but overall the sauce was good. The ingredients were pretty clean.

I love the marinara, it's one of my favorite pasta sauces. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because those lids are so hard to open you have to break a literal sweat to get them open. I kid you not, I just used two hand-held spreader/clamps to get my fresh jar open. But hey, that sause is worth the elbow grease.

This sauce is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I wasn’t so sure I’d like it because I’m not a truffle fan (and it was a little pricey for a jarred sauce) but it is so delicious and worth every penny. It’s better than sauces some 5 star restaurants put out. Just try it. You’re going to love it… and if not, send me your leftovers.
