Cocokind’s Vitamin C Glow Serum uses a stable form of vitamin c paired with azelaic acid to help brighten and reduce the look of dark spots over time, firm, and defend skin against environmental stressors. This hydrating formula has hyaluronic acid sea grape caviar to help plump skin’s surface and reinforce skin’s moisture barrier. On clean skin, gently massage 2-3 drops of serum into face and neck, in the AM and/or PM. Our vitamin C serum is suitable for daily use. Store your vitamin C serum in a dark, dry place.
Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. At least 50% of the packaging must use an alternative to plastic to qualify for this pillar.

Q: is the container airtight? I know that with vitamin C serums and other vitamin C skincare products the vitamin C will go bad if the container isn't airtight.

A: The common vitamin C ingredient L-Ascorbic Acid is sensitive to oxidative stress (air/heat) and might require airtight packaging, but we do not use that ingredient in our Vit C formula. We use ascorbyl glucoside, which is a more stable form of vitamin C and does not require an airtight container or package to sustain its efficacy. We also do stability and compatibility testing with all of our formulas to confirm that products will last the entire shelf life of 2 years. The best way to protect your serum is to store it away from sunlight in a cool and dry area. Also, make sure to cap the product firmly after every application.

I find this serum to be pretty mid/low quality-especially for the price. I initially didn’t enjoy the consistency but continued use to see how it works. Since adding this to my routine, I have broken out more often and almost notice even more redness than before. Overall, I wouldn’t have purchased if I knew the vitamin c was also accompanied with azaelic acid. My skin is generally irritated after using daily for almost 2 months. I’m not impressed and might even throw the rest away.

Used to love it then took some time off from using it to save a little money. Came back to it about a month ago and although the formula is supposedly the same, it is weirdly sticky and non-absorbent with an off smell - totally different than previous times I've purchased it. Probably won't buy again since it doesn't seem it do much anymore.

This formula is not for me. I did not notice an offputting smell as others have commented on, but I do not like the feel of it on my skin. My face does not seem to absorb it at all. And it’s very sticky. I have not noticed a change in my complexion after using it for about two months.

The new formula does not feel as good as the old formula. I used to feel instant gratification and moisturized skin. It is now a bit sticky and doesn’t make much difference.
