Pieced Patchwork Quilt - Threshold™

First of all, if you live in the pnw like me maybe add a delivery note like “put in mail box” this doesn’t come in a vacuum sealed or a zipped bag and the flimsy target packaging meant that my entire quilt was soaked when I opened it after sitting on the porch in the rain. It’s currently drying out in my bath tub. Secondly, there’s so many tiny thread strings I look away and there’s another one suddenly. I don’t think this will fair well with my cat. Third, there’s a small black mark on mine that might be a shoe scuff. I’m trying a tide stick on it. The stain isn’t big enough and the threads haven’t lead to rips so I won’t return it, for now. We’ll see how it holds up in the wash. I also think it looks cheap when I can see the quilt colors overlapping and see through, and random thread scraps trapped inside from underneath.

This quilt is great quality and has a feeling as though it was hand stitched in spite of being mass produced. It has a nice weight to it and provides warmth though it is not plush. It folds nicely and looks beautiful with one pattern on one side and a solid white color on the back. I use this on my bed but also travel with it in the car for spontaneous snuggling. I also use this as a picnic blanket. I enjoy having this blanket in the home and the colors pair well with so many color palettes within my home.

The original title/name of the item was "trad channel stitch velvet quilt light pink khaki." I received the item a couple of days ago and it is not velvet at all, it's 100% cotton. I noticed they have since changed the title of the item and velvet is no longer included in the title. Also, the pink tones are much more muted than the picture. I returned the item.

Wish the pinky color was more pink, and the green wasn’t so dark. It’s hard to find bedding at Target that isn’t too flowery or too boring. When I made my bed with it I noticed stray threads ALL over it, really disappointing considering the price. :/ I wish companies would just make good quality items, it would make spending the money feel like less of a waste. I do enjoy that it’s lighter-weight than my old comforter.

This quilt looks lovely on our bed. I love the size! It is plenty long to cover almost all of the box spring. I hate it when I buy a full/queen quilt & it barely covers our queen-size mattress. It is much softer than our other cotton quilts. I would say it is medium weight so perfect for Wisconsin in the spring perhaps a bit heavy for summer though. I do wish it came with shams though. I prefer a set as opposed to buying the shams separately. I'm only giving it 4 stars though due to the heavy chemical scent when I removed it from the package. I washed it in a vinegar based laundry detergent and unfortunately it still has a slight chemical odor. As soon as the weather is pleasant here, I plan on hanging it outside.... hopefully that will help.

This threshold cotton quilt is so beautiful. The quilted panels make it look like something that was homemade. Its a classic piece. It came out of my washer looking as good as it did when it went in. Its very soft as it is 100% cotton.

This Stitch Velvet Quilt from Threshold that was sent to me from the Hey Bullseye program an exchange for my review is the perfect spring quilt for my bed! Made from 100% cotton, the blue, green, and khaki color flow seamlessly together. I really love that it is machine washable and easily fits inside of my dryer! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to spruce up their bedroom for the season!

This is a lightweight quilt with muted neutral colors that can fit on both a full or queen size bed. One side has all the colored squares and the other side is ivory. I can't say that it is soft but it also isn't rough. I put this on my daughter's queen size bed and I thought the fit was perfect. It would definitely be oversized on a full-size bed. It does not come with any pillow shams. This might work best at the bottom of a bed as decor and additional warmth if needed.
