Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ Sauce - 14.5oz

This isn't quite what I was expecting. This is not a creamy sauce like you would find with traditional BBQs. This is more of a paste. I tried this on some pulled pork excited for something a bit different. Different it was, just not what I was expecting. The flavor is good and it's probably a good sauce, if this is the type you are looking for and exepcting.

I tried the Tenayo sauces and at first glance the packaging looks so cool! The sauce has a pretty good taste and it definately packs a big punch . In my opinion the Al apastor sauce is not very spicy in the sense that its pretty enjoyable without burning your tounge with heat .

I enjoyed the flavor differences in these barbecue sauces. The consistency seemed a little thin which is the only reason I gave it a four. I would definitely recommend trying it if you like Mexican style barbecue sauce. I haven't gotten a chance to try it in a taco yet. The packaging really takes the cake - it is very well wrapped and would make an excellent and unique gift.

Arrived in a lovely box with a card and some information on the products. Sauces are really good. The roasted poblano has a nice sweet and smokey flavor to it, good for kids. Really liked it with sweet potatoes fries as it complemented well. The spicy al pastor tasted great too, but it does have a kick that at first taste is unexpected. It comes at the end when you don’t realize it, but I’m a huge fan of spicy flavors. However, this was a bit too spicy for my kid. Overall, great sauces that have some personality and versatile.

First off, the packaging was very alluring! the bottle is well made and label looks very fun and enticing. I was super excited to try this product but unfortunately, the bottle's seal was open upon initial inspection and I was not able to try it. But I did have the opportunity to try the "Roasted Poblano" flavor that they also have and was incredibly underwhelmed with it and wished it had more depth, flavor and body to it. It might just be the "Poblano" that didn't resonate well with me and I really wish I got to try the spicy Al Pastor instead. I would just be mindful of the bottle itself and packaging as the bottles were well packaged, so I'm not sure how the seal popped off!

Sweet and spicy. This has a kick but also a nice sweet bbq flavor. I used it on some drumsticks and they came out so good. I don’t like spice but this I could handle. Perfect for summer bbqs or even as a dipping sauce.

The spicy al pastor barbecue sauce is a great addition to my tacos! It is not too spicy, just gives you the extra kick of spice. It tastes tangy and full of flavor. I marinated my meat with it and it tastes wonderful. I also use it as a side sauce for most of my meals, you can use it on anything! I love how versatile it is, it elevates everything.

I have received this product and immediately wanted to try it on my chicken I was grilling for supper. These sauces had such great tastes and paired great with chicken. I will be purchasing these moving forward to enjoy.

This sauce has good flavor. The pastor flavor is authentic and has just enough spice to it. The sauce has a nice thick consistency that is best suited for dipping or to drizzle on your choice of meat. I think it pairs nicely with chicken or pork.

These sauces are so good! We received the Spicy Al Pastor and Roasted Poblano. They are fantastic for dipping or using as a sauce base. Both my husband and kiddo love the flavors. The packaging is also really cool.

This sauce is super good! I put it with on chicken but it could be very versatile. It does says “spicy” but for me it is not at all spicy. It could even be considered sweet. Would definitely purchase again.

Tenayo spicy al pastor Mexican style barbecue sauce is supposed to be spicy and tangy, but I found the smokiness overwhelmed any other flavors. If you like that smoky flavor with a bit of spice, then this sauce will be a good choice for you. The consistency is thick rather than runny, so it should stay on your chicken or whatever meat you are basting with it.

Yummy!! The Spicy Al Pastor Barbecue Sauce is delicious!! This is a tangy and zesty barbecue sauce, Mexican style, You can put it on just about anything you’d put barbecue sauce on. It also makes a great sauce for tacos.

I love it for making smoked collard greens, ham and other bbq. Only thing I would add, make it more spicy. I know they are making it for the masses, so they can't go nuts on the heat. Has a little spice. Other than that, best sauce I have found.

Added note, the sauce was nicely packaged. Businesses who are mindful of their packaging are usually mindful about what they put in their products, and that definitely applies here.
