This product is not specifically tested on other area's other than the Face, however we do not see any reason why you could no use this on other areas such as the arms and legs. We recommend that you avoid using this product on open wounds, broken skin, or skin that is irritated or prone to sensitivity from the use of SPF. Q: Do you need to wash your face with a tinted moisturizer? I feel like it’s a dumb question since it’s a moisturizer you shouldn’t need to wash your face but with the tinting part I’m not sure..

Affordable Mineral Based Sunscreen
This sunscreen has a thicker texture and would be better for drier skins. The feel of this sunscreen is not as lightweight as some other sunscreens that I have used but for a mineral based sunscreen it is worth the price.

Great but watch out dry skin
I really enjoy this sunscreen as it is good for oily and acne prone skin. With combination skin however, the tinted sunscreen tends to cling to my dry spots and emphasize them, even after exfoliating. I still enjoy this sunscreen as it is good for everyday use. This didn’t break me out either.

Letdown…stains clothes.
I a huge fan of Cerave products but the deep tinted sunscreen is a huge letdown reason being that after applying it and waiting for 15 minutes it still manages to smear and stain my shirt or hoodie that I am wearing. Cerave needs to improve the formula where it no longer too greasy to the point it gets all over your clothes. When I use to apply the far more exapensive Elta 46 Tinted sunscreen I never had this issue. It does do a great job at blocking the UVA/UVB rays but the greasy texture that makes it smear and stain my clothes is a deal-breaker for me. I will never purchase this product again until Cerave improves this sunscreen.

I'm light skinned, in my 40s, and I have dryer skin. I go natural and don't wear makeup at this point in my life. The most I do is this product and some tinted lip balm. I usually layer this sunscreen using my hands over over the cerave vitamin c serum and cerave overnight moisturizer (I use it during the day). It's everything I'm looking for in a tinted sunscreen; light coverage, moisture, easy application (I don't have time for brushes and nonsense), and mineral sun protection. It can look a little shiny at first, but it tends to absorb. Unlike so many other tinted mositurizers, it doesn't get dry and itchy over the course of the day. It doesn't pill. You don't have to think about it. It's great product, and I hope it doesn't change.

The tint is super natural — it evens out my skin tone just enough without feeling heavy or looking like foundation. It gives me that “your skin but better” look. What I love most is how hydrating it is. It feels like a moisturizer and sunscreen in one, so I don’t have to layer a bunch of products. Most mineral sunscreens leave a white cast, but this one blends in perfectly thanks to the tint. It gives my skin a soft, healthy glow without looking greasy. On lazy days, I literally just use this, a little concealer, and mascara, and I still feel put together. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and my skin stays protected all day — which is the whole point of SPF anyway. Have not had any breakouts or irritation as well!

I love this sunscreen. It’s just tinted enough to give a light/medium coverage if you apply enough. It can look a little bit orange if I’m not tan so i usually only wear this during the summer. The packaging does get a bit messy.

Love it!! I mainly use high end skincare products especially for my face but read great things about this and thought I’d try it as I needed sunscreen for my face. This works so good under makeup and I really see a difference in my skin. We tend to skip sunscreen especially in cold months but it’s so important to use it daily regardless of the weather. I have very combination skin and found that normal foundation leaves me skin feeling gross, not this! I would trade in all the foundations I’ve ever tried for the CeraVe Sunscreen. I have light/rosey complexion and opted for the medium shade and it blended so well. After all day working my face is still feeling light and actually soft compared to what it would be with a face full of make up! 100% Buy this!

Great for sensitive skin.
I’m actually shocked at how well it works. It says sheer coverage, but somehow it still makes my skin look very smooth and even-toned without makeup. I haven’t worn foundation to work since buying this tinted sunscreen, as I prefer a more natural look anyway and this does the job. I feel like my skin is also healthier now probably from wearing makeup so infrequently. This product has been a game changer! I don't need a lot of coverage because I am in my late 30s and less is more. I use this as a base and it works perfect, it's like two steps in one!

Greasy and smelly
This product is not accurately advertised. It is incredible greasy, I had to use setting powder to avoid looking like I rubbed oil on my face every day. It also has a strong smell that lingered throughout the whole day. It also would get almost a gritty texture, perhaps because of the addition of the powder to avoid a shiny face.
