Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Shampoo - Ulta Beauty

I was excited to try a new shampoo stating it helped with frizz. One week into using it my scalp was always so itchy, and I lost CLUMPS of hair every time I washed it with this shampoo. So I did a deeper dive and researched it-to come across an article stating carcinogens were noted. Very sad considering I was so excited to try this :(

My shampoo was open when I received it.

Did not leave hair feeling hydrated or less frizzy. Left it feeling dry. I did use the matching conditioner afterwards and left it in for three minutes before rinsing like the bottle said to do. After having hair in towel to dry some my hair came out tangled and bone-dry. I have wavy/semi-curly hair. Will not be using/purchasing again. Sad to have wasted my hard-earned money on a poorly designed hair product.

Ouidad is the only product that controls the frizz and defines my curls.

I've been using the Climate Control shampoo and conditioner for well over 2 years now and have seen wonderful results in my curls. I have tight ringlets (think Shirley Temple) that before using Ouidad's Climate Control line, would frizz and separate. Now my curls stay in tact all day and my family has even noticed the difference. I would recommend this.

Living in the deep south and with our humidity, I am pleased to have these 2 products help fight my frizz. I have also include several other Quidad products in my regiment of hair care and please with them all.

I NEED this shampoo in my life, well my curls do that's for sure. I've been fighting with my curls to find a formula that works & wow let me tell u... This amazed me. My curls were hydrated, soft, controlled and not frizzy.

Absolutely love the defrizzing line of products. Before using, my hair was very frizzy but these products are amazing in decreasing frizz to almost none. Plan to keep in my stash.

Love the gel. I use this every single day. Only thing that reduces frizz and leaves my curls with some definition.

I have wavy, curly hair that frizzes in humid weather and the rain. I straighten my hair but despite having a state of the art anti frizz blow dryer and flat iron my hair still goes nuts when their is humidity in the air. I tried this shampoo on a whim when on vacation because the salon/spa in my hotel recommended it. I paired it with my normal smoothing conditioner and I could not be more pleased. It’s light, smells great and my hair looked smooth and best of all stays fresh and smooth in humid weather. I love ordering direct. I got the value size(3x) with a dispenser for just a little more than what 2 regular size bottles would cost plus free overnight shipping and a free deluxe size sample.

I recently swore off heat styling in attempt to straighten & smooth my naturally "beach wavy" but very frizzy hair, & have vowed to embrace my waves & curls while trying to learn how to tame the frizz for the first time in my life... To make matters challenging, I live in a semi-tropical climate on the Gulf coast of south Texas where humidity is a way of life a good 10 months out of the year. For point of reference, its currently July - or the height of humidity here. Yesterday was the first day I have used this product (on recommendation of 2 friends) and all I can say is "Wow! I love it!". I let my hair 100% air dry & slept on it loose. This morning it is soft & shiny with no frizz - yet still has tons of body with soft beach waves. This stuff is quite pricey, but I think it will be worth keeping around. As far as performance, for a sulfate-free shampoo it still lathers luxuriosly & rinses clean. Point of note: I used its complementary conditioner & styling cream yesterday, as well. I've used the styling cream with other brands of shampoo & conditioner I also love and my hair came out about as nice, but these products do really compliment one another. I think I'm going to become a faithful Ouidad customer. Please don't ever change this Advanced Climate Control line!

My go to for the past 3 years. It just works for me. Since using this Shampoo and conditioner my hair has grown tremendously. I have 3 textures 🥴 and with past products either the front would grow and the back would And vs but this works for all 3 textures.

I feel like I have put this through some pretty tough tests-Florida out with friends, almost 90 with humidity to match-hair did so well!

Up until a few months ago, I would consider my hair to be very dry, frizzy, thin, and prone to split ends. I decided to swear off heat and start wearing my hair curly/natural again. This line has literally changed my life! I just shampoo, condition and let air dry...that's it! My curls have life again (the volume is great) and the product smells amazing. Ouidad...you gained a lifetime customer and I cannot wait to try other products by this brand.

Love it. My hair feels healthy and under control. The only complaint I have is the small amount/bottle for the price. Don't think I can afford to use this long term.
