Best product ever.

Been using this product for years. Hope the company doesn't stop producing it. It keeps the curl in place but doesn't stiffen it. Calms down the frizzes.

Since I finally started embracing my wavy hair over the last year, I've tried several gels and this is by far my favorite. I have fine 2B/2C hair and apply on wet hair before scrunching and diffusing, then break the cast. It makes my waves really pop! It's lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh down my fine hair, but still gives me lasting hold, even on rainy, snowy, or windy days. (Disclaimer: I don't live in a humid area, but have traveled to humid places and still had good luck - no frizz even on rain-drenched days at the coast.) Some reviewers mention the smell, but I personally find it fine - not too overpowering. Besides, I like how the gel makes my waves feel, so I think it's worth the fragrance.

This product contains Polyquaternium-7 which stains your clothes! After finding so many shirts woth dark stains i did some research and yes this product ruined so many or my kids clothing! And thoes satins are PERMANENT!

I only use this product in my hair. I can't live without it.

Really helps keep the frizzies away!

Seems to work I have fine hair greatly affected by humidity

My hair is fine to medium thick and dense. It absolutely sucks. No volume, fine. No definition? On my wash day/best day? Its to toss out. I had barely any curl/wave. My hair was soaking wet. I applied enough product. I scrunched, I was careful with diffusing. I did not change any technique as I had with other gels with amazing results. Soo many pieces were utterly undefined, where strands in the same clump and curl pattern wouldn't even stick together. It was as if I had woke up on day 5 hair with limp curls.

The gel works pretty good on my coarse, dry hair, I would prefer a better cast for my waves and curls to scrunch out after I diffuse my hair, but if you prefer a softer hold you will love this gel.

I think this product is good but for my hair it is not my mom tried it and it gave her hair very good curls but my hair it look dry and frizzy so I think it is good for some hair but not mine.

I've been using this gel for YEARS and my most recent purchase I noticed the label changed and so did the ingredients and formula. It just isn't the same and the new smell is atrocious and overwhelming. Sadly will never be using this again, which is a huge disappointment. I really wish beauty brands would stop getting everyone hooked and then changing things. This is the THIRD time this has happened with products that were my HGs. If you are new to it, by all means check it out, but if you've been a long time user make sure you at least check the scent before buying again.

I've been pleased with each Quidad product I've purchased. A little always goes a long way. With this gel, I use alone or mostly with other hair care products and I find that it works very well, either way. This does not leave my hair stiff, however, it still provides the hold I'm seeking. Whether using on wet hair or not, it works out fine. On dry hair, I recommend dampening hands and applying, so as not to use too much product. No worries about flaking; this product does not cause flaking and the hold lasts all day, even when there is humidity. Overall review, excellent!

Almost made no difference ar all. A little runny consistency.

My hair loves Quidad advanced Climate Control. I have thick, nappy, curly frizzy hair. This is the only product that controls the frizz with leaving any sticky build up on my hair. Would recommend, it works.

I wanted to love this product but it did not provide any hold for me at all

I have 3b curls and I had high hopes for this. It only looks good the day I wash and diffuse, after that its a frizzy mess. Absolutley no hold at all!

I work at a plant nursery in the PNW and work in greenhouses all day ie., HOT, humid, no one has a good hair day. This is the first gel that has kept my waves intact!! I wash my hair every day after work because I have literal dirt it in, and I use this gel after a spray leave-in and also jvn conditioning mist. I then let it air dry and sleep on it without scrunching out the crunch. The next day my waves look SO good and continue to look good throughout the day. I've wasted a lot of money on gels and this is the first one that I will gladly repurchase! I did have to figure out the right amount for my hair (first I didn't use enough, then I used too much) but after that, I will never use any other gel again! I also find that it doesn't yellow my gray hair at all. Win!

I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, styling cream, and gel from this same product line. I had really high hopes but it doesn't provide hold or definition for curls. It did a little better for frizz than other products I have used.

Let me just start by saying I hate using a bunch of products in my hair. Having very thick 3A/3B Curls, I find them to be too expensive, take forever to dry (both diffuseing and air drying),most of all weighs my hair down and causes major buildup pn my hair; however, this product, I've found to be the best. It is the ONLY product I use in my hair, and it holds up against the humid weather we have in Florida. It makes my curls feel great and look amazing. It is lightweight, allows movement in my hair and cuts my drying time almost in half! I also want to note that airdrying your hair using this product will make it have a crunchy and hard seal on your hair. Diffusing will leave your hair soft, without the hard cast, but still all the same hold. The only downside is that I have to use quite a bit of product to have my hair look nice while using it, so I do end up having to buy the larger sizes. This is probably because of how thick my hair is though. In all honesty, it is cheaper than buying millions of other products for my hair!! Overall, this is the best product I've used on my hair and I'll always use it for my hair!
