Ive been hunting for an anti-frizz curl/ wave holder… I apply this to fully wet or dampened year. The final texture is not too crispy, but it does not hold as well as mousse. Does not contain frizz as much as other gels, especially for the cost.

My all time favorite, holy grail, GOAT hair gel! I've struggled with frizzy hair since puberty. This gel along with a moisturizing leave in is perfection. I get tons of compliments on my curly mane. Thanks Quidad!

I have 4a hair i was expecting quite a hold but my hair became frizzy with undifined roots and lacked definition. It didn't create a cast like a topper gel would I was dissaponited espically for the price point it is set at.

This is a cult classic for a reason, and it's for literally everything about it except the fragrance. It is a thin fluid gel with excellent slip, making it a dream to distribute through any curl pattern. It provides next-level shine and contains many flexible holding agents which means you can scrunch out the crunch and still get good style retention. If you have fine or lower density hair, you can probably get away with just using this gel as it is moisturizing to an extent. When it comes to the fragrance in this product (in basically all of the products from this line) be prepared. I am going to describe exactly what it smells like: A sunflower fell into your grandmother's Coty Airspun Powder and then danced around her bedroom while all of her perfumes circled around and sprayed continuously. If you can handle that, then this gel is hard to beat. Also, if you can handle that I have questions. TLDR: Excellent gel ruined by the awful fragrance selection Ouidad seems determined to keep making.

i recently tried this product along with the OUAI curl creme and it works so well for my hair it doesnt weight it down. When i was styling my curls stayed with definition and its holding very well my hair is wavy and curly on the top half of my hair. The smell is also great its smells like fresh roses. Definitely give it a try.

I used to use this product a couple years ago and the gel had a nice strong hold/cast, but this new bottle I purchased doesn't give me that same effect. It has medium hold and doesn't really leave a good cast. I like it but its not a top product

I live in Alabama where humidity is a given EVERY day! This geeks keeps my hair from frizzing every day!!! An absolute MUST have! Makes a perfect cast that dissappear when tousled. Leave beautiful curls that you (or someone special) can run your fingers through.

I heard so much hype about this get and was excited to try it. I have 2b/2c hair and there's a lot of humidity where I live part of the year. This gel did next to nothing for me. Initially, it looked great...for about 2 hours. I tried different amounts on different days and the result was always the same. This gel wouldn't even be in my top 5. I have drugstore brands that work better. Everyone's hair is different but this was a fail for me. Grateful I didn't buy the full size bottle because it's too pricey to perform so poorly.

Literally the BEST gel to keep your curls defined and frizz free!

I'm sorry but a climate control/humidity control product should not contain glycerin or polyquats!!!

I have been using this gel for many years. I have tried tons of others, and always go back to this one. It gives me stong hold, no frizz and lasts several days.

This purchase is my 3rd bottle of this gel. I have thick fine curly hair with a lot of frizz. I use this with a light leave in conditioner, and its a good product for fine frizzy curls. It's the only thing that works during humid summers, though I do use it year round, and it does not leave the hair crunchy. I highly recommend this!

This is my favorite hair gel and I've tried lots. I use it after a leave in conditioner. It doesn't leave a residue, leaves hair shiny and controls frizz when applied to fairly damp/wet hair. It provides some hold but leaves hair soft and touchable. Ouidad has some the best products for curly hair. I also like the Matrix brand.

I have type 4, loose, coily hair. I heard Ouidad had great products so I decided to try this one. I've learned that gels (vs creams) do best for my hair when I do a wash and go. However, after finishing half of my head and starting the other half, my hair looked like I hadn't applied any product whatsoever. It just looked like I had ran water on it. I thought it would get better after diffusing but it only got worse! It now looks dry, there's absolutely no shine and it feels crunchy. Unlike other products I've used in the past. I will be returning this and I do not recommend for my hair type. One of my friends also had the same affect, but she forgot to tell me. She only remembered after I shared my experience.

Okay! I never ever write reviews unless they are extrmelky good producta or really really bad products. I have been in the hunt for hair produxts to bring back, love and embrace my curls. I ahve tried most profucts and this one takes the trophy. I cnanot stopblooking at my haor and i am on day two without havibg to refresh the curls. I literally work ul like this, i told my husband. It works so well, the whole is not extreme but trust the product. I dis add some of my favorite "moptop" gel to get some crunch (I love and embrace the crubch now). You will live thisbproduct and resdy to try even more products in this line . The heat and humidity line is a must have. It is very pricey that why i started aith the trial size.

I have fine 2c/3a-c hair. This gel had absolutely no hold after diffusing. It did form a cast initially, but that cast fell apart during diffusing, and sections of my hair ended up nearly straight. Waste of a wash day to be honest. As others noted, it is also very fluid but sticky in consistency.

Provides very little hold and certainly does NOT help with frizz and humidity. I have long blond naturally curly 2C, 3A hair. Does not provide a gel cast. Very disappointed in this gel.
