Q: So they have a timer ???

A: Hi Bean. The tealight candles have twist on/off flame. They are not equipped with a timer to turn them on or off at a specific time. Please let us know if you have other questions.

In every day use for ambience I love these candles! Safe and odor free option for my sensitive family and granddaughters. We are in the Pacific Northwest and have had wild fall-winter weather thus far including a “Bomb Cyclone”!? That said we have had numerous lengthy power outages. I always keep a few boxes of different sizes of these and both AA & AAA’s on hand for my home and to pass on to family or friends in need. Having them for our outages it was nice to have the timer features as well! I highly recommend everyone have these on hand for decor and emergency purposes. I just put the right size batteries in a small baggie and drop in the box you have everything put together when you need them.

Good value & will work great for what I wanted them for. Inside an opaque or deep candle holder they will work fine, or inside a pumpkin. The twist on/off flame is convenient.
