Q: Are these candles white or ivory? Do they have a timer?

A: The flame makes them look very orange, actually - too orange to be calming, in my opinion. I wish the flame were more of a yellow - I'm returning them.

The candles themselves look nice and give a realistic enough glow, but the batteries they come with die pretty quickly. The clasp to replace the battery is very poorly designed

Batteries Can't Be Replaced

These are fine until the battery dies, but once it dies, you can’t replace the battery. They crimp the screw on the inside so that the battery casing can’t be opened. Once the batteries that the candles come with run out, you have to throw the whole candle away. It’s extremely wasteful!

While the product details say that these are for indoor/outdoor use the product box says they are for indoor use only. I wanted candles for outdoor use so i am very disappointed!

These are really cute. The flicker & motion are really beautiful. They fit perfectly in tea light & votive holders. The only issue is the on/off switch is hard to toggle for someone like me with arthritis.

These have been great so far. We used them for our jack-o-lanterns this year and they stayed lit outside nonstop for over a week before I finally removed them. Not super bright but not expected to be. The light is "realistc" enough to be what you want from a votive.
