Q: Are there supposed to immediately be able to turn on because mine aren’t.

  • A: Hi Cmajaksms. Thanks for reaching out. The lights can be turned on by holding the base of the candle and twisting the flame clockwise a quarter turn. The flame should illuminate once twisted, and can be turned off by twisting the flame counter clockwise.

Q: Hi -- I purchased these before the holidays & want to remove the batteries before storing the lights until next Dec. How do I open the battery compartment? I can turn the cover but cannot pry it open.

The light that this casts is way too orangey yellow. I’ve bought others that are more realistic and closer the color of a real flame. Also, they won’t allow me to return this by mail although I had it shipped to me. The closest Target is over 1 hour away from me. A Hamilton down the drain…
