Q: Is this lamp no flicker? Some LED lamps have a flicker in the lights, and they give me a headache. I want a natural daylight lamp but without any flicker.

A: Ottlite lamps do not flicker. If an Ottlite LED lamp is flickering/flashing it may be that the proprietary adapter (cord) aka the driver may just need to be replaced. Q: It shows a NONREMOVABLE INTEGRATE BULB. How long does the bulb last? How do you replace it........nothing lasts forever........?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Creative Curves Desk lamp has LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) built into the head of the lamp, therefore not replaceable. LED lamps work by the adapter (cord or driver), therefore Ottlite does not recommend plugging LED lamps into extension cords or power strips, unless they are rated heavy gauged, as this could compromise the adapter (cord). Ottlite does recommend plugging directly into a workable wall outlet. LED lamps are rated for approx. 50,000-60,000 hours, and include a 2-year warranty with copy of proof of purchase within 2-years. Q: I received this lamp today, when i plugged it in it is quiet on the lowest setting but buzzes on the higher 3 settings, is that normal?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. It it not normal for an Ottlite lamp to have a buzzing noise on any setting. Other electrical equipment may affect the lamp's performance, thus move the lamp to other areas in the room to see if the buzzing still continues. Bought this light on my wife's recommendation -- she has an Ott Lite for sewing. I wanted something for reading both text and music, and the light works well for both. The flexible neck lets me focus the light directly on the music, which is very helpful.

I'm an artist, and this light allows me to accurately assess value ranges in my still life sketches with black graphite pencils. I love the 4 levels of light, and also how the neck twists so I can aim the light where I want it. It's the perfect light for me!

I have this placed on my nightstand, and it works perfectly. The base is heavy enough that my cat cannot tip it off nightstand. The different levels of brightness is very useful, as well as being able to bend the arm to shine exactly where I want more light.

LOVED ALMOST EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, EXCEPT THAT I WISHED THE CORD WAS ATTACHED/BUILT IN AND NOT LIKE A CHARGER TYPE CORD. NOT HAPPY AT ALL ABOUT THIS FEATURE. SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE WHEN IT GETS DETACHED. THE ONLY REASON FOR NOT GETTING A FULL FIVE STAR. LOVED THE 4 TOUCH SETTINGS, THE WEIGHT ON BOTTOM HOLDS LAMP NICELY AND THE CLEAN LOOK.
