care guide says not to store in extreme cold but it arrived in the mail frozen. base and cap are a very thin aluminum and arrived bent. it was easy to bend back but keep in mind it's very flimsy

Ordered this one online and the fluid was clear. Had several others from the store that were cloudy and I returned them with no issue. Don't hesitate to order online and return in-store if you get a cloudy one, or go into the store and ask to look inside the packages at the register. You can tell just by looking at the globe in the store if there's cloudy or clear fluid inside, no need to plug the lamp in.

This was a Christmas present because my daughter was getting her own room. Got all moved in and the lamp worked for a couple of days, the first time we turned it off, never worked right after. Now it won’t heat up all the way/ enough to make it all move.

Right from the start this item would not heat enough to make the balls of was that rise and fall. Just stalactite looking structures that stayed still, for over 3 hours Returned for refund

This lamp takes 2 hours before the “lava” begins to move. So disappointing for a kid. Buy one that works like it should- not this junk.
