I think the gold color really stands out in my room and is a good accent piece and I’m glad it has two bulbs considering the shade is completely metal and opaque(it comes with bulbs!!) However, I do think the shade is too big. I have a pretty large desk, and still takes up too much room. It also came with a pretty large scrape on the side, so minus two stars for those two reasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bryson Dome Shaped table lamp is so much better than I expected! It was packaged so well that I actually struggled to unbox it. The lamp arrived in a few pieces but was very easy to assemble. The base is heavy but the curves and smooth finish show it will be a classic piece that can work with practically any decor. Two LED bulbs were included which was a pleasant surprise. Pictured is our living room beside a recliner, but this lamp has been beside the couch, in the den, in a bedroom, and an office. It seems to work everywhere, no matter the decor, but it is important to note that the light from the lamp does not spread out; it only spreads down. It works beautifully as a task lamp as opposed to a whole room light, but we are using it in our living room as a supplement to other lighting and are enjoying the look and addition to the space. Cleaning the lamp has been easy as well. Dusting is simple and quick and the edges are finely crafted and smooth. The brass finish of the lamp is attractive and the dome doesn’t get hot to the touch. The cord is long enough to be easily moveable and the on/off switch is easily accessible. It is also compatible with our smart outlets and devices.
