Ink+Ivy 8.5"x17" Lumivive Mercury Glass Table Lamp: Contemporary Design, Iron Base, UL Listed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this lamp for free in exchange for an honest review. I love mercury glass, and this shade is thick and beautiful. But the brass body arrived bent, and the lamp stands at a slight angle that can’t be adjusted. It takes a standard E6 bulb and throws an impressive amount of light bc of the low-depth shade. It’s not a design that excites me but overall I’m satisfied with it brightening my entryway. Assembly was simple and easy.

Standing at 17 inches high, its modern design complements any decor beautifully. The lamp provides excellent lighting, perfect for reading or working late into the night. However, I encountered a small issue with the switch, which isn't functioning 100% properly. While it still works most of the time, I have to fiddle with it occasionally to get it to turn on. Despite this minor inconvenience, I love the lamp's style and overall functionality. If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing lamp, this is a fantastic choice!

I was impressed with its durability as I have two boys under 8 and there are constantly things flying around the house. When the first “bump” occurred I was sure it was going to be smashed but it’s held up very well. I would love to use this in a bedroom or or office space.

It goes perfectly with my black/gold side table and works great for accent lighting. I really like the modern design as it was the perfect addition to my living space and I’ve already gotten compliments! Seems to be very sturdy and well made, definitely a quality product. It came with a standard 60 watt LED light bulb but I chose to use a 40 watt Edison bulb since it features an open top design it just made sense to add a more decorative bulb.
