Q: I purchase a 2 year video game protection plan in December but never registered. What should I do?
A: Hello Sephi, Registration is purely optional and has to be completed online Squaretrade website. We need a copy of the purchase receipt at the time of filing a claim on your item. Whenever you have the time, you can easily upload the copy of the receipt online on your account. So that when you want to file a claim, it's already online and there are no delays. regards, Ali

Q: Do I need two separate protection plans if I purchased two video games during checkout?

Q: Does this plan only cover video game HARDWARE or the actual video games themselves? I bought a game today, and they sold me this but no where on the square trade site does it say it covers the actual video games.
A: Hello Mel, Thank you for contacting SquareTrade. Our Standard Protection Plan covers all mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use wih your video game. You will receive 100% parts and labor coverage up to the original price of the item. We will cover you up to the full price you paid for the item, excluding tax. Each time you file a claim and we repair your item, the total value of the coverage is reduced by the cost of the repair. Coverage lasts for the term of your Protection Plan or until the coverage amount (Item purchase price) of your plan is used up. The issues that we do not cover include misuse, loss or theft, software issues, and any cosmetic damage that does not affect the operation of a device. Q: How do i go about filing a claim for a controller that the charging port is not functioning properly.

Q: I purchased this item for my son with a game. Can you explain how to use this? If there is a problem with the game within the 2 years can we take it back ti the store? Please explain product?
