Organize, sort and contain! The Room Essentials 28 Quart Storage Box is ideal for a variety of basic and lightweight household storage needs, helping to keep your living spaces neat. The clear base allows contents to be easily identified at a glance, while the opaque lid snaps firmly onto the base to keep contents contained and secure. Stack same size containers on top of each other for efficient use of vertical storage space. When storing items away, use good judgment and don’t overload them or stack them too high; be mindful of the weight in each box and place the heaviest box on the bottom. This storage box is ideal for sorting and storing towels, clothing and linens and fits conveniently underneath the bed for out of sight storage. The 28 Qt, 56 Qt and 70 Qt Storage Boxes use the same lid allowing shallow and deep sizes to be stacked in the same footprint. The overall assembled dimensions of this item are 22 7/8" L x 16 5/8" W x 6" H.

Q: Are these NSF certified?

A: Hello, the Room Essentials 28 Qt Underbed Storage Box is not NSF certified but is only used with high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

Q: Are the measurements (L x W) taken from the lid? I am curious to know the measurements of the actual container (not the lip, either). Hoping it'll fit inside our sensory table. Thank you!

Q: When NESTED, no tops involved, how much space is between the bottom interior of box #1 to the bottom interior of Box #2? I need to drill holes in the bottom of Box #2 to SIFT into Box #1.

Great quality! These sturdy plastic bins are perfect for organizing my crafts and games. This fits all the big and long coloring pages we get, which has helped organize our cabinet from looking a big mess when they go through all the coloring items they have. Also the price is great couldn't help to get a couple of these for the house, best way to organize and keep the little ones from getting into it without help. So no more big messes.

The tubs are as described but this is the second order I have received from Target and I only ordered twice in both times have been either broken or wrong parts. I received a tubs I ordered but lids that are one and a half times too big last order I ordered seven tubs and two were broken

I bought a few of these for my shoe storage and they fit perfectly at the top of my closet shelves, they are a great size to organize shoes into different categories. I was able to fit about 7-8 pairs of sneakers in each box. Would also be great for blankets/sheets under the bed or top of closet shelves, or for storing seasonal clothes in them. The price is also great and affordable compared to other storage boxes available. I plan to grab a few more as I continue reorganizing rooms in my home. One star off because the plastic does feel a bit thin and may break easily. Haven’t broken on me yet but I’m scared one day I’ll drop a box getting it down and it will break. Also would have loved them in a dark grey/black color option instead of clear to hide the items inside for a cleaner look.

This worked perfectly for a sensory bin for my toddler! The sides were tall enough to contain the rice/pasta, but not too tall to where it would be difficult for her to reach in and play with everything. I was even able to utilize some of the "sensory bin" toys from Bullseye's Playground (the dollar spot in the front of the store), and was able to use a few at a time with the size of this bin. The lid is strong enough to keep my toddler from being able to open it on her own.

We used the Sterilite Totes before but have switched over to these becasue they have held up so well. We have stacked multiple totes on top of one anoher and the lids haven't caved in like other brands have. Will continue to buy more in other sizes.
