As a veteran ready-to-assemble furniture guy, my rating is based on the difficulty of assembly. I was expecting an easy one since it only involves (9) pieces. Each piece does not have a letter corresponding to the instructions as now seems to be the RTA standard. It can’t be said that the instructions are poorly written because there are few written words. The diagrams supplied should be more detailed with more enlargements since parts are angled and can only successfully be assembled one way. I didn’t find any further info on the manufacturer’s website or an install video. The pre-drilled holes aren’t quite wide enough in diameter causing very tight screwing. There’s a chance that one of the wood screw heads will strip. An extra shorter screw is provided but not an extra for the longer screws. There’s also a chance that the supplied Allen wrench head will round off. Best to make sure that you have a quality 5/32” one or get one in advance at the hardware store. Even with a good one, be prepared to make many, many small screw head turns on the corner braces because it’s tight quarters. To its credit, the manufacturer provides a form in the instructions for replacement parts and a fax number. Parts may also be ordered from the website which also includes detailed contact info including a phone number. So once I got two of them put together, do I like them? I do!

Was looking for 2 affordable counter height stools. Alot of the reviews of other inexpensive stools were terrible but this product had good reviews so I took a chance. Very happy!! Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, in perfect condition (no broken/missing pieces), very nice looking! Definitely recommend!
