Q: Should there be two grinders in a set? I received two grinders. The image shows a grinder and a shaker. I will reorder if there will be a shaker in another set but if not I will just return. Thanks.

Q: The materials are listed as containing Xylene / 106-42-3, Ethyl acetate/ 141-78-6, Toluene /108-88-3. I’m guessing those are in the finish applied to the wood. How do you clean the inside to remove any trace of these chemicals?

Q: I got this set from Target and need to know how to put the Salt in Salt Shaker. If I take out the white cover from the bottom and turn the shaker upside down to fill the salt spills down from top hole

A: Hello RG - Thanks for contacting us. We apologize for any trouble filling the salt shaker. We recommend holding the shaker upside down with the top in the palm of your hand, covering the holes with your palm. Fill the shaker with salt, replace the bottom plug, and turn the shaker back upright. - Cheryl

I received only a pepper grinder. Target “replaced” the item with 2 more pepper grinders. So I have 3 pepper grinders and no salt shaker. The pepper grinders are very uneven at the top so they always look a little lopsided.

I read the reviews and knew it may be a little challenging for the pepper grinder. There really isn’t a lot of room to add the peppercorns so it takes some patience. The salt shaker is a shaker…not a grinder :) Fine sea salt works well for it. If there could be another way to add peppercorn quickly, this would be a 5 star. The wood and design are beautiful!

These wood salt and pepper shakers are made of a beautiful wood that adds the perfect natural touch! Purchased 7 for our rentals and they all arrived perfect and have worked out great. We have other wood accents in the kitchen such as the paper towel holder and knife block, all coordinate so lovely together! Love when a product works well and has style.

The pepper shaker is absolutely not functional. It takes forever to fill it because the opening is so so small and the pepper keep spilling out as I try to fill the shaker. It's such a beautiful set but not usable at all. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong but I tried for quite some time to fill the pepper shaker but couldn't do it. This will be returned. I wish Target could Quality Check, its products before selling.

I love the look of these. It is confusing for the salt because they don’t give you direction on how to take off the top, but I figured it out. You just pull the top part off. No need to unscrew anything.

I ordered this set from Target.com, and they came just wrapped in plastic (no box or information). They appear to be sturdy, and have a nice feel to them. The only down side that I've found is that filling the pepper mill isn't as straight forward as you would think; unless I am doing it wrong, but I don't know because there wasn't any packaging. You have to unscrew the grinding mechanism on the bottom, and be careful not to lose any of the pieces (including a small spring) when you do so. I imagine this will also make for a bit of difficulty when you need to clean out the mill as well. Other than that they are great so far!
