Q: Is there a trick to the salt shaker? I filled it up with salt and nothing comes out?

Q: What kind of stopper is under the salt shaker? Is it a secure plug? The rubber stopper in my current shaker falls out leaving a pile of salt on the table - grrr!

Beautiful product, but doesn’t last. Ordered these last year, they worked well until the pepper grinder stopped grinding. The top metal piece became stripped and wouldn’t stay attached. Wish they would fix these, as they are beautiful.

I returned this item and requested a replacement. When I picked up the replacement it was also defective. Both pepper I’ll grinders were missing the cap screw on top of the grinder making it unusable. Very sad and annoying as the persons picking the item didn’t notice or care. Plus the time spent. Low quality item or bad vendor. The Target associate was kind enough to give me a gift card for my trouble.

Really nice set for the price—however my pepper mill will not close and I just purchased today. Somehow, after I initially opened it, the inner mechanism faulted and the screw top cannot be fixed anymore. Nothing I tried or read online works. Incredibly disappointing.

These are NOT grinders! They grinders nothing. They are simple shakers. False advertising. I need my salt rocks and peppercorns GROUND. That's why I ordered these "grinders." Now I'll have to waste my time returning. Very frustrating.

This is a very cute looking set but lacks functionality. I got this to replace an older set of mine that broke. I'm finding the pepper grinder in this wood set to be lacking. It is very hard to fill, which I could get around if it had an adjustable grinder mill. It only grinds one size of pepper. If my 4 year old gets even one big pepper flake she declares dinner to be "too spicy" and refuses to eat. I have to look for a new set again now because of this.
