A: Metal, and only the metal brightroom cart at target. I had read it would fit others as well but it does not.

I will be returning this item. The flat lid side fits over the shelves of a typical 3-tier metal utility cart, but the organizer side is too small to fit securely, making the feature I purchase this for useless. Others have noticed the same flaw so it's clearly not just the one that I purchased.

This lid does not fit. It is too small and all I can do is put it on top, not locked into place and tilted and it easily dislodges and slides off.
