Q: Is there a policy number to refer to if/when a claim is filed? Does SquareTrade mail a hard copy of the warranty outlining the coverage to the policy holder?

That is why we only email customers a digital copy of their protection plan contract. You can visit Squaretrade website for your warranty contract and file a claim. Q: My 50" element tv keeps cutting in & out. I looked at a tutorial from element to solve this problem. It has not worked. Does the 3 yr protection plan cover this problem?

Q: I purchased the 3-year TV protection plan for $49 when I purchased my 50 inch Samsung Smart TV. I was told by the sales clerk to register my product with target/squaretrade online using a code on the receipt. I cannot find a place to register the product.

You also can file a claim online anytime by following the simple steps given below. File a Claim Online 1. Go to www.squaretrade.com 2. Click File a Claim at the top of the page. 3. If you already have an online account, just log in. To create a new account, enter the email address you used when you purchased your protection plan, click Set Up, and follow the instructions. 4. Click File/View Claim next to the item you’re having trouble with. 5. Follow the steps to file your claim in minutes. We will also need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will need to be verified before your claim can be processed. To submit your receipt, please use our website upload tool. This process should take you less than 5 minutes to create a login and upload your receipt. The file must be in JPG, TIF or PDF format and it should be less than 5MB. Q: our 50 inch Samsung tv did not have the four screws to hold the tv stand in place. Samsung wont mail the replacements. what would you suggest we do now?

Q: Does this cover accidental damage, like a broken screen?

Q: Is this for 3 years after the 1 year that it came with?
