Loved it!! Used in my closet to organize

This shelf, while sturdy and effective for its purpose of holding things, was manufactured cheaply. The wood was not sanded properly or evenly, resulting in patched of rough wood here and there. The finish doesn't match in these spots, as well, and varies between glossy and matte. Also, one of my decorative screw caps is a different size than the other 11, and is too small for the hole. All of that considered, this shelf should be at LEAST $20 cheaper. I shouldn't have to pay over $60 for a shelf I have to fix and refinish/touch up once I put it together.

This shelf has worked extremely well for us.

As described and perfect for what I need

I bought this bookcase to put my 40" tv on top and cute decorative items on the bottom shelves. I agree with the other posts, the instructions could've been more clear. the beveled side needs to be on the bottom side when assembling the shelves, I had to take it apart to redo and the screws were stripping. to tighten I recommend using the long side of the Allen wrench as a handle, that was the only way I could get the screws in. The holes could be drilled better. Once everything finally went in and tightened it was very sturdy and it has the results I was looking for.

Too hard to assemble!

This is an amazing bookshelf that I bought for my grandsons birthday. The color is more like a cherry wood and very nice. It was so easy to assemble. I’d consider buying another for my granddaughter too. Love the way it looks and very sturdy!

Beautiful bookshelf, great price. It does have an odor. The instructions to put it together were missing steps. But not difficult to put together.

The bookshelf is really pretty. It gives a nice accent to any room. If you are looking for a small book shelve you will enjoy this.

This bookcase was relatively easy to put together, seems well-made and solid, all the parts were there, no damage, and it looks great in the grandkids' room. Great little bookcase for the price.

We love this so much, we bought 2 more. It is sturdy and easy to put together. I love how open the design is, it doesn't look bulky like some units do.

This bookshelf is made of wood as described, but the construction is poor. The shelves are shown in the photo as being aligned with the cross pieces on the sides, but in reality for the one I received the shelves were below the cross pieces so you could see the rougher ends of the shelves. Assembly instructions were incomplete, not mentioning that the shelf edges are beveled and need to be installed with the wide end up, so that I had to take the shelf apart and start over after partial assembly (and I'm an engineer, so it may be even less obvious to the typical customer). Screws are soft metal, such that I stripped one head during assembly, though I am not overly strong and was not being particularly aggressive. The finish is very delicate, such that I scratched the surface accidentally during assembly - with my FINGERNAILS! I bought this to go in an under-stairs closet so no one will ever see it and I didn't feel like going through the effort of returning it, but I can't recommend it and I would not buy again, nor would I use it in a part of the house where it was visible. It only gets two stars instead of one because it is wood and it feels like it will hold up except for the finish.

This shelf was solid but had a lot of imperfections and dings from the factory.

Look great in my sons redecorated room (he is grown and gone. This is the ‘big boy’ room lol! Just be careful with the Allen type wrench. It wears out. I used my drill and a hex bit set to low speed.

Goes together easily and is cute, but this comes with a HUGE orange warning sticker that was a big pain to get off. It’s still sticky and ended up chipping paint trying to remove it. It gets 3 stars because the sticker took that much time and has left a permanent sticky spot.

Putting a bookshelf together with an Allen wrench is impossible. The holes weren’t drilled properly so the screws are now stripped. I can’t finish putting it together, and I can’t take it apart. This should be fun to return.
