It is beautiful and functional. Target - you should really display LARGELY to people that you cannot boil water in porcelain or ceramic tea pots; especially on the stove! Tea Kettles, people! Tea Kettles are for boiling water! There are so many negative reviews on tea pots by people who misused the item.

Please save your life and don’t buy this!!! Yesterday morning I was boiling water for my tea…I picked up the tea pot by the hand and the bottom fell off and boiling hot water went everywhere and got on me. I have burns all over my stomach. Thank god my baby was in her play pen and nothing got on her. I’m scarred by this…how could this even happen? Please don’t buy this I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. My stomach hurts so bad and has so many burns on it

Stunning!!!! Elegant!!!! Pretty!!! Dainty!!! Girlie!!! Everything the woman of the house wants in serving ware. I ordered the pitcher to match and i adore it!!! Very beautiful piece. I collect teapots and teasets and this will be added to my home office which is really pretty in buttergold, white, and black. This teapot and the pitcher within this set foots the bill to display it. I love it. The detail. The quality. The size. The character are very good for the price.
