A: The warranty for the mamaRoo sleep bassinet is for one year from the date of purchase, covers repair or replacement, and is only valid in the country where the mamaRoo sleep bassinet is purchased. Warranty applies to original purchaser only and is not transferrable.

A: The mamaRoo® sleep bassinet does not contain harmful amounts of EMF and is 100% safe. As with all electronics, including cell phones, baby monitors, etc, it does contain a small amount, but it has been thoroughly tested and has passed all safety requirements through the FCC, or Federal Communications Commission. More information can be found in the User Manual as it relates to our compliance to part 15 of the FCC which speaks of low-power, non- licensed transmitters. The Bluetooth can be disabled for families who choose not to use it. These instructions are listed in the product user manual and in the Support section of 4moms.com.

Q: Is this bassinet JPMA certified? If not, any reason as to why not? Most other bassinets in the expensive category have the JPMA certification, hence curious since it's not advertised anywhere here.

Q: How long can the baby sleep in this bassinet ?

A: The mamaRoo sleep bassinet can be used for overnight sleep. However, the bassinet will automatically turn off after 4 hours. The 4-hour shutoff feature is standard across our mamaRoo products. In the mamaRoo sleep bassinet, it is a feature that helps to begin the transition from bassinet to crib. Most newborns will fall asleep within a 4-hour timeframe and will not feel the motion stop. You can easily turn the motion back on via the 4moms app or on the unit itself.

A: We do not recommend the use of any other sheet with the mamaRoo sleep bassinet, as the 4moms sheets are the only brand that have been safety tested for use with the bassinet. This recommendation is in alignment with the American Academy of Pediatrics’ safe sleep recommendations since the mamaRoo sleep bassinet can be used as an overnight sleep surface.

Our 2 month old is now sleeping through the night with this! We love it. However, we aren’t necessarily sleeping through the night because it turns off every 4 hours. Then you need to restart it. WHY. Who designed that feature? Clearly not a tired parent.

I like it and still use it but one month in it developed a consistent squeak. Which isn’t helpful when your baby wakes up to the loud squeaking sound, wakes me up as well.

This was a baby shower gift and it has been a wonderful asset. My baby loves it and enjoys all swing patterns. I wish more tech was included to it like cry detection to activate motion, sleep sensors, and wifi. Despite of that, I LOVE OT AND MY BABY DOES SO WELL IN IT.

Terrible investment, should have gotten the snoo instead. Product from day one has made a high pitched squeaking noise that won’t go away. I imagine it’s not good for a newborns ears. The motion stops suddenly and is unpredictable when it will stop which has caused my baby to wake up numerous times in one night. Overall this product has made me extremely frustrated with a pointless motion feature. I feel scammed and wish I read all the bad reviews. Would have saved me a headache.

Pros: Bluetooth controllable, lots of motion options, removable legs. Cons: makes loud thudding noises & squeaks & we haven't even used it for 4 months. We've done everything to fix it. Timer only lasts for 4 hours & wakes my baby up in the middle of the night bc it has shut off. Need to extend time limit. Poor sound quality on the lullaby & noises options. Needs more options for cushion or "mattress" covers.

Loved this bassinet for 5 months with my son then all of the sudden it stopped working. It starts to move then stops and the screen blinks. I actually had to take it apart and clean the sensors which didn’t do anything for it. I also put white paint on the white parts of the wheel for the belt. Again nothing. I’m so upset I was really hoping to use this almost 500 dollar bassinet for all of my kids.

Works great for my baby. I like the multiple setting options and speeds, as well as the white noise options. The motor does make a hum which gets louder as the speed increases, but it basically serves as white noise which my baby doesn't mind. Wish I got this for my first baby.

This bassinet was awesome and had my baby sleeping all night! Now you start the movement on it and it stops instantly after 1 minutes. Got the bassinet as a gift for our baby shower. But we're very sad it's not working anymore.

Plays soothing sounds and sways with different settings/ levels which is nice. However, after just a month of use it starts to squeak really loudly. Almost enough to even wake your baby. Bluetooth friendly which you can pair with an app. Not something you can move from room to room. It is quite heavy.

I really wanted to love this bassinet. Purchased it around February 2022 when I had my first baby for around 4months. Then stored it for my next baby. She was born September 2023, used it around 3months. stored the bassinet one last time until October 2025 and here is where the problem started the bassinet no longer turned on. So I went along my day and the next morning my toddler was able to power it on. I was excited to use it for my last baby but it keeps turning of after only a min. Overall the bassinet was used less than a year and it no longer works. Same thing happened with my mamaroo. I would think this brand would meet my standards since it is on the higher prices. I guess this brand is only good for one time use. Not good if you’re planning to use for more than one baby.

My son loves the movement. We love the look of the bassinet. Unfortunately, I am on my 2nd replacement. First issue was knocking/clicking noises and now it is misfiring the movement. It scared my son. Luckily we have the warranty but this is unfortunate. First issue happened right out of the box, now he’s 2 weeks and it’s another issue. Poor material.

Love the bassinet but the app is horrible. It never properly connects to the bassinet. I have to get up, turn it off my hand and then it will connect, when we first got the bassinet and app it connected right away. Now it doesn't and it sucks when u want to try and change the setting in the middle of the night. Only giving 2 stars cause we love the actual bassinet, but the app needs work.

I’m on my third kid and hindsight I would just rent the snoo for a few months instead. Then it’s not your problem when the product wears down. I paid $450 for this and the squeaking and grinding is a problem and making it unusable. This won’t last you for multiple kids because it will be out of warranty before you have another kid…. And the problems it’s having are just a matter of time before they start. So save your money! It’s great while it’s working but it won’t keep working in the long run.

I loved this bassinet the first 4 months- my baby sleeps SO good in it! But then suddenly it’s making this loud obnoxious sound and I can’t figure out why. She’s still under the weight limit and doesn’t roll. It also makes the noise if she’s not in it so it’s not that she’s ’heavy’ So disappointing because it’s cost SO much.

After a month it started rattling and I had to get it replaced. I had to replace it 3 times total because the clanking sound happened in all of them and I’m sure it would have happened again but my baby grew out of it. We’re using it for our second but don’t turn it on because the sound is back and I don’t want to try to have it replaced again and be missing it for 2 weeks. Wish I didn’t spend d the money and got something else. Great customer service though but terrible product.
