This thing is small and fits on my bookshelf next to my desk. It is really bright, so be prepared...even on the lowest setting. That's not a complaint, though...my only complaint with this thing should have a USB cable to run it, instead of some proprietary connector. I'd really like to be able to plug it into a USB port (which are EVERY WHERE in my office) instead of having to burn up my precious 110 outlet.

Love the idea of this as living where it is not sunny often the lack of vitamin D is always a problem. I tried it at home but the part that helped it stand was not very sturdy and broke within days because the kids wanted to try it. It definitely helped me be more alert and in a better mood though. The concept is an awesome idea just not with children around. Would definitely have fared better if used in an office

This product is great for its intended purpose. It is compact, lightweight and easy to store. The timer is a great feature on this product. For people that use such devices I highly recommend and for those that would like to try one out, this one is great.

I suffer from seasonal depression (living in a city that is constantly overcast will do that!) and I’ve wanted to try a sun lamp like this for a while. It’s easy to set up and use and a good price point compared to other models I looked at. I am unsure if it actually helped me at all, but perhaps it takes some time to actually work?

I was excited to try this light, as I have mild depression that is exacerbated by a lack of sunlight—a real problem during a Midwestern winter! I’m so glad I tried it, because the light works very well for me. I definitely feel an energy boost after I use it! Even on the lowest setting, the light is bright and effective; the photo I’m including shows the lowest setting. Other lights were on in the room when I took the photo, but because the light is so bright, it makes everything else around it look dark.

I have been using this lamp daily for about 3 weeks, and have noticed an increase in my energy level, as well as better sleep patterns. It’s also a great natural light source at my workstation. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love my Suncatcher light! It's bright, powerful, but it doesn't get hot which is perfect for the office. I also love the timer feature to ensure that I don't stay in too long or forget to turn it off. It doesn't take up a lot of desk space and it's really nice to have in my office!

Winter in Minnesota can feel so long, and you really start to miss that sunshine. This light is such a handy little light, all you do is taking it out of the box, plug it in, and turn it on. It couldn’t get easier, just sitting in front of it doing you normal tasks or even relaxing reading a book! I’m hopeful of the energy this promises, and a little mood boost in these dreary snowing days (it is snowing as I wrote this!)

The Suncatcher Plus Light Therapy Lamp w/Timer is the neatest thing! So, before it I haven’t ever heard of light therapy. I have a lot of issues with seasonal depression and anxiety so this was something I was really interested in trying. I love how bright it is for such a small item. It puts out so much light that it’s crazy, no matter what level it’s on honestly. I love that it can be put on a timer so that if I forget to turn it off or just want it to be on for a little while and don’t want to move to turn it off, that It will automatically. That’s probably my favorite part about it. It’s nice and sturdy and not heavy at all which makes it easy to take from room to room if need be. I like to change up where I have mine through the house depending on the time of day. I’m very pleased with it and feel like it’s given me a little pick me up lately and has made the dark days so much better!

Light boxes have so many benefits. They help with SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder, as well as sleep and mood disorders. This light box is small and easy to set up in your home or workspace. It has multiple light and timing settings as well.

I’ve been using this for a few days now but I don’t quite feel a difference yet. It says to not use it for too long or you can get jittery so I’m start out slow. This winter hit hard with the winter blues so I’m hoping to see some difference. It’s a very small and very bright light! It does need to be plugged in at all times so it’s good to use while stationary. I’ve been using it while I do my hair and make up and as an added bonus the light is helpful for makeup!

Great lamp. I work very early hours from home (2 am) and it's always so dark and dreary. I use a sunlight bulb in my lamp to help with mood and such but it was never enough. This has helped quite a bit. It helps me to really wake up and trick my brain into being more alert (before I'm even finished my first cup of coffee). I just set it up next to me off to the side, but directly to my face. It isn't bothersome to my eyes. The controls are easy to adjust (a quick tap). The stand is sturdy enough. I don't move about or bump my desk so I haven't experienced any wobbling. This is great for work at homers.

This sun lamp has been helpful with the recent time change. My mornings have been a little slow going and my usual routine of coffee and reading was lulling me to sleep. I’ve been switching this on the low setting for 15 -30 mins and definitely feel more awake. As someone that doesn’t really like being in direct sunlight, I was hesitant to try it thinking it would be the equivalent of shining a flash light in my face, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are 3 light settings and several automatic timer increments to choose from ranging 15- 90 mins and it automatically shuts off when finished. My dogs also enjoy the sunlike glow!

Relieving the winter blues, fighting fatigue, increasing alertness, regaining focus and attention... This would be a miracle cure if it lived up to it's claims. So far, I am still waiting. But, it does make you want to believe it all.

This was my first time using a light therapy lamp and boy is it BRIGHT! I thought it would give a nice glow off and I could use it while watching TV or working on my computer but there's no way. If you had the time to sit with it in front of you and you could shut your eyes while using it that might work. It's a nice small size (apple in picture for reference) and I like that there's a timer, but it's not for me

I like to call this the happy light. I work from home in my basement without a window. This light provides a sunlight effect that feels like I haven't been stuck inside all day! I don't suffer from SAD, but I can see how that may help someone who does.

This light therapy lamp is a welcomed addition to the dark, cold Winter. I absolutely love Summer and as the darker months close in on me, I always dread not having long, sunny days. This lamp provides the daily boost that I need. It's very lightweight, can easily be hung on a wall or propped up with it's stand. I use it in different parts of my house, depending on what I'm doing that day. The timer and intensity control are great features. I started with the lowest intensity and gradually moved up. This has added a boost of focus, attentiveness and happiness to my daily life!

I have been looking for something to beat the Winter blues and heard about light therapy so thought I would give this a go! I have been using this for a week now and this device is for sure light and portable. I included a picture next to a can to show the size. It was smaller than I expected but my word the light this gives off is no joke! There is a note in the instruction to not look directly at it and when I turned it on, I realized why! After using this I am not sure if it is the light or not, but I do feel more alert and as if I have more energy which has been good. I do love that the brightness and time can be adjusted. I will say, it is really bright even on the lowest setting, so just be prepare for that. I gave it a 4 our of 5 stars just because the brightness gets me every time! it is just so powerful, which has it's good and bad. It for sure is a great bang for the buck if you suffer from seasonal depression, another ailment or need a pick me up.

So bright! It’s nearing the end of winter season but I can tell that this light would really help me in the dark months. It’s portable and compact so easy to bring to work if needed. It also has a handy timer and built in kickstand for ease of use. You can set the brightness to different levels which is a great feature.

This little thing is very bright, even on the lowest setting. There are three levels of brightness. I used it on the lowest and unfortunately for me it was still too bright for me to get close to it. I do like that it has the different levels and that it has a timer on it so you can choose how long to have it on. It has a kick stand on the back to keep it upright and there is also a hole for hanging it. For me personally I did not notice a difference in my energy level, but it could be because I couldn't be very close to it. I also feel some people are affected more by light then some.
