Looks great, easy to put together, seems sturdy. I was worried about damaged pieces but we lucked out and nothing was damaged (the packaging was robust). The only issue was that the screws included to attach the “X” bars in the back weren’t tapped properly and they stick out far, I think I will just remove them since they are not structurally important so the screw heads don’t damage the wall behind it. Snagged it at 45% off and it is much nicer quality than other pieces in that price range. Happy with it!

This is nice, but the only problem is the books fall to the left/right between the metal bars. What this needs is short metal bars that go back to front on each shelf. They would connect the front/back metal bars. This would prevent the books from falling. And now to spend significant time googling options

Study construction, really clear directions. I’m returning because I don’t like the style - it is way more “angular”than I realized - but that’s not the fault of the shelf. If it’s your style, it’s a great purchase. I didn’t put all the shelves on because after the first couple I realized I didn’t love it.

Solid shelves that I had a great accent to any room. They really open up the space with allowing the wall to be seen through the back. Relatively easy set up, however would be much easier with a pal. they seem pretty solid so far. They come with a wall anchor as well if needed. Great purchase overall!

I was so excited for this piece and was hesitant with the reviews of broken or damaged pieces. Received mine today and 2 of 5 of the pieces were noticeably damaged. Such a hassle having to put it back and now bring it back to return. Do not recommend!

3 of the 5 shelves arrived damaged. 2 of the 3 replacement shelves arrived damaged. Very slow customer service from the manufacturer.. The quality of the “wood” is the worst I’ve seen on a product. It’s like sawdust loosely held together and terribly painted. I’d just return them but the size is exactly what we need. I plan on building my own shelves to replace these and just using the metal frame, since they seems built well enough. Unless you need this size, there are a ton of shelves with the same look that at least can’t be any worse.

I am in love. When we originally measured to make sure it would fit in the spot we were planning to put it, we thought, “hmm it seems a little short for a bookshelf,” but it’s absolutely wonderful and the walnut finish matches almost perfectly with our bed frame, which is a plus! Very easy assembly all around. (Our bookshelf is holding a whole array of things as we don’t have our own home yet!)

I ordered this item in the Barnwood finish. It looks great with another piece that has a Rustic Oak finish. It was very easy to assemble, feels sturdy and looks great. The shelves are MDF, so it has the look, but not the feel, of solid wood. Very happy with this purchase.

Would give 4 stars but had a few issues when receiving this item... Be aware that the wooden shelves may come damaged. Had to return this item TWICE to get it right, unfortunately. The first time, a few shelves had scratches on them. Second time around, two shelves were literally broken!! However, customer service was excellent and worked with me. They sent me a replacement. I was able to select undamaged shelves from the replacement and send the broken ones back. It was inconvenient, but I really wanted the book shelf! When put together, it's a really nice piece and easy assemble!
