Q: Are the base and magnifying piece supposed to be two separate pieces? Almost dropped the whole thing when I lifted it and the glass piece came off in my hand abd the base was knocked over.

Reaching my mid40’s and suddenly those labels are looking really tiny. I saw this in the store and liked the look but the practical use is what sold me. It’s easy to pick it off the stand to easily read labels and then put it back. Looks stylish and now I don’t have to stop to find my readers for a quick glance at things

I love the idea of this, but it is made very poorly. Or at least the one I received is. When the magnifying glass sits in the base, it leans and doesn’t stay straight. It has a lot of scratches and marks on the glass that do not come off. The hole where you put the magnifying glass in on the base is way off center.

This decorative magnifying glass from Hearth & Hand is gorgeous. It feels super high end and it’s made with great materials. I love the brass and marble together. I love the look of it on my nightstand and it will be super handy to have nearby for reading small print.

Overall, it's nice that three natural materials are used for this piece (brass, glass, and marble). The aesthetic works, and overall I think this is a good value, being a practical item as well. I do find that the magnifier doesn't sit completely securely and straight in the holder. It's not enough to outweigh the positives for me. The marble is pleasing and appears good quality, and really makes this better than most alternatives, imo.

This is a really awesome accent piece. The brass and marble combo has a great "antique " look and really adds to our decor. The magnifying glass separates from the base for use, or even for a different decor look (think, on an open book on display). I do really love this piece.

I received this Hearth & Hand 8"decorative brass and Marble magnifying glass free. From Hey, bullseye sampling program. For my honest review of it. This is a beautiful magnifying glass. I love the brass with the marble look. I like how the magnifying glass stands upon in the marble base. I like how the magnifying glass swivels. So you can look at things from different angles. I also like how you can remove the magnifying glass from the base. So you can look at things up close. This magnifying glass looks really good sitting on my shelf. As a decorative piece.

This magnifying glass is very nice. I like the contrast between the brass and marble. The first thing I checked for were chips in the marble and dents in the brass. There were none. It’s aesthetically pleasing and looks wonderful on our credenza. We’ve already used it a few times to check small writing, like on a battery. The only thing I would change is to have the magnifying glass fit a bit more snug into the base. It comes out easily. Overall this is great quality!

I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This magnifying glass is a really cute decorative piece for any office space. The magnifying glass itself actually comes apart from the base so that you can use it. This was a tad smaller than i imagined It to be but overall it’s really cute and I plan on displaying it in my home office.
