Q: Can you leave the gel in the face for a period of time or do you need to wash it off right after it gets applied?

A: Hi Beto, Thanks for your question! The Cleansing Gel is very gentle and should not have an affect if left on the face. But we advise to wash off since it's a cleanser.

Mustela has been the best smelling gentle cleansing gel for my 40 years as a mom!! The smell is unsurpassed! Wonderful!! I love this product for my own sensitive skin too!! I will buy forever! Please never discontinue and fall into the false trap and fad which says fragrance free is best. It is not. Please make all your wonderful products with the original Mustela scent

I tried many products found in stores in hopes that my 8 m/o's sudden and extreme flare up would fade. Immeadiately following the first wash I noticed a difference. By his second bath and in combination with the emollient creme his skin was back to being as smooth as ever. This relieved every worry I had and left me a VERY happy customer.

My babygirl does not have eczema. However, her skin is sensitive. I love this cleansing gel because I can wash her face with it and noticed that it keeps my baby's skin moisturized.

The first one or 2 washes with this for our one year old with eczema was fine. The third wash tonight however has resulted in a full blown rash on his bell with welts. This cleansing gel has some type of fragrance to it although it claims to be fragrance free. Avoid if your baby has super eczema prone skin. We will be going back to Eucerin Baby. Sad, I had high hopes this would help. Lesson learned, stick to what works and does not irritate that eczema skin. Do not try something new just because it has some Eczema society seal of approval.

This body wash works so well on newborns. We brought our newborn home from the NICU and his skin was very red and irritated. This was the best wash for his sensitive skin.

The STELATOPIA cleansing gel is okay, but we prefer the cleansing cream. It helps my baby retain more moisture throughout the day.

This gel is very disappointing. It doesn’t lather at all and rinses away after a few seconds. You have to use so much of it with each wash. We went through 3 tubes in a month. My daughter has used the stelatopia collection since birth and is now 3 years old. I’ve had no complaints ever about mustela but this product misses the mark. Please please bring back the Stelatopia cleansing cream!!!!!

Mustela cleansing gel worked great on my 2 year olds light dry skin. His cheeks to be exact breakout with eczema. After a couple weeks of use skin seems smoother and healthier. Alittle more expensive then other products we've used but well continue and purchase other mustela products.

We love the brand Mustela, and this eczema wash has made us love them even more. My 3 year old has been plagued with a pretty uncomfortable case of dry itchy skin since birth. We are always looking for the best ways to combat it. This cleanser has made us stop searching. It is very mild on her skin and helps so much. We have seen a difference in just a few days of use. There are no strong smells so perfect for any skin type young and old. The bottle is very appealing to the eye and would be something I would stop to look at if I was browsing the stores. Definitely just made us Love Mustela even more!

This soap is great. My kids both have sensitive skin and usually get itchy with scented soaps. This hasn’t made them itch one time, goes on easy, and even smells calming. I love it!
