Very disappointing wastebasket and NOT worth the price

After having this kitchen wastebasket for only a couple of months, I dropped the cover and it complete came appart. The flimsy metal springs both fell off. After I was able to recover both springs (one of which had fallen into the trash and was almoas impossible to find), I was eventually able to figure out how to re-assemble them with the cover (no eaey task). Fast forward another couple of months, and the same thing happened again. Except this time, the cover broke and attaching the springs was not possible. So now, after shortly after 3 months, I have a completely useless watebasket, which will now become a part of my trash.

It came in a much larger box with NO packing, banged around in there all the way so top was quite bruised when it got to me. I reordered, hoping for better luck second time…..

I love the size of this trash can. Even bags that are super heavy come out easily. I gave 3 stars because the lid closure broke very easily which was disappointing given the cost.

I bought this trash can because the pedal on a previous trash can broke. While I’m disappointed that the lid liner did not accompany my order, I am relieved that the opening of a 13-gallon trash bag can fit over the edges of the top without tearing if I’m careful. Even though the lid does not fasten to the top of the trash can, there is no odor when I close it. The spring-top lid mechanism is excellent and I would recommend this can for that reason alone. I would have given this can 4 stars if I had received the lid liner and had a great experience with it.

When I opened it I found that one of the springs on the lid had fallen off during shipping, but even after re-installing it, the spring lid would not work. It is a decent size trash can but since the spring lid was the only reason I bought it and it’s defective, I’ll be returning it. Also, it’s overpriced, even if hadn’t come broken.

No LinerLock Bag Wires Included

This just arrived, and there are no "LinerLock bag wires." Guess they forgot to include them. It's a lid and a bin. Nothing else. The lid pops up well. Hope it stands the test of time. We'll see! I chose this design because it seems like it will keep my dog out of the trash. The top fits on tightly, and I think it will do the trick. Wish all the parts had been included. Guess I will just stretch the bag over the top edges of the bin.
