I had the same experience as some other people. I have used this for years, and it was a thick scrub with exfoliating beads. When I opened my most recent purchase, I found it was watery, more liquid than scrub, hardly any exfoliation. I’m very disappointed and won’t be purchasing again.

I've been using this product for years and never looked back. I just got a new bottle and I can't believe that they changed the formula. Instead of an actual exfoliant, I'm met with a watery mess, with little exfoliants. Now I have to look for a new product. Absolutely disappointed.

I've been using this scrub for YEARS, but a recent purchase has a different formula that is a considerable downgrade from what it used to be. The texture used to be thick and scrubby, but it's now thin and watery with barely any scrubbiness. On top of that, the new scent is AWFUL. I actually fear it might be breaking my skin out after only a couple uses. Shame. I hope the extra 5 cents they're saving per bottle now are worth it, because I won't be repurchasing.

How come I just purchased 2 bottles of this product with the second ingredient listed as water? The "scrub" just poured out and is nothing like my last purchase. Why would you have made that change…yet everywhere else I look water isn't listed on supposed ingredients?
I would not buy this again due to product texture.

This product used to be great but now the last two bottles I got are extremely runny. It used to have a texture similar to toothpaste. The runny texture is awful and difficult to use.

My first purchase was amazing but my latest was so runny it runs out into the sink before I even squeeze it. When I close the top the liquid that has fallen in the top squeezes out when I close it and makes a mess everywhere. Certainly a large amount is being wasted. Not sure if I should try this product again.

I started using the incredibly clear cleansing clay about 6 years ago and it was life changing for clearing my lifelong acne. After that product was discontinued 😭 I switched to this one and have been very pleased with the results as well but the texture isn't always ideal. The most recent batch is very thin in consistency. I hope the next batch is back to being thicker in consistency.... But even if it's not I still don't know what I would do without this face wash. I have 2 tweens and when they started getting acne I gave this to them and it started helping them immediately to reduce outbreaks!

I'm obsessed! I have combination skin that trends dry during the winter. I've also been experiencing some hormonal acne and skin texture lately. I honestly bought this because lots of reviewers said it wasn't a true scrub, which I thought would be great for light physical exfoliation without damaging my skin barrier. Well, turns out this is an actual scrub BUT I've been using it every other night and my skin is loving it. It isn't harsh or overly drying, and my skin feels hydrated after I use it. I've also noticed fewer new breakout, quicker recovery of existing breakouts, and less skin texture. I will definitely be re-buying this!

I have used this product for for 8 years. I struggled with cystic acne was an adult and THIS is what finally got it under control. I use it daily as my face wash. I would not call it a scrub at all -- but a charcoal cleanser. I would be very upset if this product ever was discontinued.

Please, please never stop making this product! It is the best thing that has ever happened for my skin. I had so much acne that I was grateful for face masks to cover it. It was painful physically and emotionally. I tried so many products that cost a fortune, were toxic, and did nothing for my painful acne. This product has my skin clear and smooth. I literally cried with joy when I felt how smooth it could be. I still have some scars, but this product changed my life. I'm so grateful for you, Acure!!

I love Acure products and have used them for years! However, this product is a major disappointment. I wanted a scrub and the Brightening Scrub was sold out, so I thought I would try this one. This product should not be marketed as a scrub. It's a basic cleanser with some beads in it. But there is NO "scrub" or "grit" to it. It's a cleanser. When you say scrub, I expect to feel the "sand/grit" as I'm washing my face. This doesn't have it!
