Altec Lansing HydraBlast 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker - Black

The sound quality is pretty good - I’ve had better (Bose), I’ve had worse. For the price, this speaker is fine. The control buttons’ symbols are kind of confusing. I get + means volume up, and - means volume down, but the other ones… pause? Skip? I dunno. My main issue is the charging. I wish there was an indicator to let you know how much charge was left, instead of just shutting off. And while charging, a red light is displayed. I was waiting for the light to turn off, switch to green, something to indicate charging was complete. Nope, not in my experience. But overall, this speaker didn’t break the bank, so it’ll suffice… at least until I find a better one.

I love listening to music and so does my son and we listen to music everyday! My first impressions of the speaker, was that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and battery life! I have a speaker that’s much more expensive, but this was almost as good if not the same and it’s half the price so I highly recommend it for this reason! I love that it’s magnetic, I love the lights and how you can switch different colors, and I just had an overall great experience with the speaker! The set up and connections were very easy, I can only say good things about this speaker. It’s comparable to any other speaker you would buy, just try it, and you won’t regret it. High-quality at a lower price I really recommend it for anybody my son loves it and it’s great to have two speakers when especially one he can play with that’s sturdy.

It floats in the pool. And the best part it’s LOUD for such a little speaker it thumps music. It was super easy to connect via blue tooth and the light features are cool too. I want to buy more so we can keep them throughout the whole house and connect them together

With its waterproof ability, perfect for a beach or pool day (when dropped into pool it even floats! Going to test this out once I open up the pool for the season). Love the ability to charge my phone (qi charging pad or via usb) when I get low on the go. The LEDs are pretty cool as well, many different modes that even light up and sync to your music. This speaker will even attach to magnetic surfaces, I tried it on my fridge and yes, it sits on it solid! Recommended this product.

It plays music clearly, its waterproof (I can take it to the pool or beach), it can charge my phone wirelessly, its so convenient! After a full charge it can last up to 20 hours. Its not super loud but its powerful for a compact speaker. Price point is also a good selling point!

My initial thought was this would make an amazing dad or grad gift, and that’s before I even opened the box. It charges up quickly and easily connects to my phone — even for me, and I’m a bit electronic illiterate. My husband thinks it is great the sound quality is maintained throughout the range of volume. Guests get excited about the light up feature, which adds a fun party vibe to any space. The magnet is very strong and the feature itself comes in handy. We put it on our outdoor umbrella a lot to amp up our backyard. The carabiner hook could really be helpful in a garage or on camping trips. Given that it’s waterproof, we’re also planning to take it on the boat with us. This speaker is lightweight and portable, but it’s not something I would travel with necessarily, as it’s still a bit bulky.

I love that it’s able to wirelessly charge my phone while using it. The color changing features are a cool touch. Pairing with a phone is a super easy process and music controls can be done on the speaker. The speaker being waterproof is great so I won’t have to worry about bringing it to a pool or beach! It also has a magnet on the bottom to stick to metal or it can be hung on something. All in all, it’s a good and durable speaker.
