Way too much is going on for this little thing. My 3 yr old is frustrated by it. We might as well get a regular tablet. The games freeze, it takes so long to even set up, download stuff, etc.

Slow performance on a Fire tablet can often be resolved by clearing app cache and background data. Here is how to do this: Open the Settings menu. Select Apps & Notifications. Select Manage All Applications or See all apps, and choose the app you are having trouble with. Select Storage, tap Clear Data or Clear Storage, then Clear Cache. If these steps do not help, and you are still experiencing functionality issues, you can call Amazon customer service, available 24/7 for assistance with the device.
