Amazon Kindle 6" e-Reader (2024)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kindle battery life seems pretty good. The screen is easy on my eyes and makes reading on a device much better. The Kindle is thin and fits in my bag perfectly for on the go reading. I love how the screen is split between my books and the discovery section so that I can find new and exciting books to read.

This thing is ridiculously small and I can't even imagine trying to read off of it. It's just a cute little toy really.

So far I am loving this dedicated reader. It is lighter than my phone. I like that it is thin and not bulky, even with a TPU case on it. It is slightly slow but that does not take away from the experience. It was easy to set up. I like that the screen is not made of glass. I like that you can read in dark mode and adjust the lighting. I don't mind the cooler screen since I can adjust the brightness and ultimately do not regret choosing this version over the Paperwhite. I would recommend this to anyone searching for a dedicated reader. I also don't mind the ads on the screensaver but there is an option to get it without them for an extra cost.

Super lightweight and holds a charge for a long time. This is my first Kindle. I typically use my phone or laptop when reading digital books. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy using this device. It doesn’t make your hands ache or tired like holding your phone for a long time will. I also ordered the remote so I can pretend to be a burrito and leave my hand under the blanket while changing pages. It’s great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure who this is for. I feel like most people have Smartphones and tablets and can read on those devices. Getting a device for just reading from the Kindle selection in this day and age is like getting an iPod just for Apple's selection of music when you can get it on your phone. If you don't have those devices I guess it's good but who doesn't? I was hoping my grandma (who uses a flip phone) could use this and get back into reading but (while it's lightweight) I think it's too small and difficult to use for her. On this device you can read from Kindle and do some basic web browsing. I wish you could at least use some library apps on it to download books that open with the Kindle program but instead I have to download them with my IPhone and then they show up synced in the Kindle (again, something my grandma won't be able to do on her own). It's not for me (or Grandma), but if you're just looking to read some books purchased on the Kindle program on one device and nothing else it's fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how lightweight it is and that the brightness can be turned all the way down so I don’t get blue light in the evening, I was a little confused on how to get back to the Home Screen while reading, but someone on YouTube was very helpful. I like that you can either swipe or tap to turn the page. It’s nice that you can change light modes and text sizes. Occasionally the screen shows a little shadow of the text from the page before it, but so far it’s faint enough that it doesn’t affect my reading. The battery lasts a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kindle is definitely compact and slimmer it has a larger display, higher contrast. The battery life on this one is good. It charges fast also which is great. My only issue is the lag time when scolling through the library it took me a little bit to learn how to navigate through the library. It wasn't very straightforward. I like that it is compact and it fits good for carrying it in a purse so it is definitely good for travel especially on those long flights. Overall I am pleased with it. I would definitely be buying this for gifts for the holidays. Especially for my family who are readers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The convenience aspect of this product is insanely incredible. It’s so easy to read on the Kindle without hurting my eyes for long periods of time. The quality is fantastic and it is so easy to use. The only flaw I would point out is that it’s kind of hard to get used to the black and white colors and the graphics are not as smooth as a phone. I can’t complain though, because this is truly worth the money.

Perfect for my hand and sitting comfortably Highly disappointed in Target though either their shipping, my item was just in a box with no fluff to protect it. So the kindle was knocking around.

I absolutely love this kindle! There are so many features and I love how lightweight it is. I’m able to throw it in my purse and take it anywhere I go. I have recently started having pain in my wrists from holding books open, likely arthritis from aging. This has completely resolved that issue! It charges quickly and holds the charge for several books. Happy reader here!
