Boy was I fooled, this thing goes everywhere with me, it’s user friendly, the battery lasts forever, the screen is clear and crisp and the kindle unlimited is worth it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kindle works as intended. It is a small and extremely portable device. I was able to bring it along with me to work without any issues. The screen is big enough and bright enough to read anything and everything. The color schemes are rather soft and not as bright as expected. However, it still allowed for a good experience reading colored comics. The only thing I didn't enjoy so much about the Kindle is its slow feeling refresh speed. You swipe across the screen and you notice a lag behind every movement. Of course this is just a device meant for reading not a device meant to have state of the art performance speeds. If you want portability and a library of books at your fingertips then the Kindle is just want you need.

I constantly read different genres of books and this device has made life simpler. It was a transition switching from an actual book to a device but this Kindle has done the job. I like that the device is slim and can fit into my bag or purse for easy on the go trips. I was worried about the screen clarity but I’m pleasantly surprised at how clear and bright the screen is. The display is amazing, I love the subtle color of the pictures and other images. The battery holds charge for a long time so I’m not constantly charging which makes perfect for long car rides. The size is also great and fits nicely in my purse!

I was worried I wouldn’t like it as I’ve always been someone who believed I could only love a physical book - but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and have loved reading on my kindle! The kindle itself is lightweight but seems durable and high quality - and the battery lasts me several days! The screen can be brightened or dimmed, and also comes with a ‘warm’ setting which dims the blue light from the screen. I also love that I can read easily whether I am outside in the sun or inside! If you are hesitant because you love a physical book - this is your sign to give the kindle a try!

I had heard of people saying that they were yellow tinted, but I didn’t get any of that. The display is large. The Kindle itself is quick. There is no leg to the page turning. I’ve been using it for a few days and I have not had to charge it yet so far, I am obsessed with this Kindle!

It uses very little battery; therefore, it stays charged for a very long time. It very easy on the eyes as far as reading even though there is some color and very clear and easy to read. You also have the option for dark mode, brightness, etc. I haven’t felt the need to use it as the default settings work great for me. This makes it so easy to read many books on vacation and pack away in your backpack or purse. The colors are also super soft and light. I have not noticed any issues with a yellow bar at the bottom of my screen like some have. Would recommend it if you’re wanting a touch of color to your books!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon kindle colorsoft is a good e-reader! The set up doesn’t take long at all, I was able to log in to kindle account with the help of my phone. It reads smoothly but it definitely feels a little slower then reading on my phone, sometimes when I flip the page it flashes black before the the next page is shown (sometimes this happens and other times it just flips normally) You can take notes, highlight in four different colors, and it has a built in dictionary. All you have to do is hold down on the text or word for these options to pop up. To get out of the book your reading all you have to do is click up at the top and a section will appear which will allow you to return to your library, adjust the font size/book layout, and view your notes/bookmarks. If you’re switching between your phone and the kindle like I am, the notes and your progress transfer to the other easily but I think it takes a minute. When reading on the kindle and I switch to my phone it says I’ve read ahead and gives me the option to move to that location. I think it’s just the notes/annotations that take a minute to move onto the other device to view them. The kindle also detects your reading speed and will tell you how long it thinks it will take you to finish the chapter you are on, if you click on it on the bottom corner it switches between three options. You can have it where it tells you how long the chapter is going to take to read, how long it predicts it will take you to read the whole book, or the location you are on (unsure how the location bit works with books on here but it isn’t meaning the page count) I’m enjoying the kindle colorsoft, I really like that it includes colors. I thought that the colors would be a bit brighter but it’s still colorful. The color gradient just gives the colors more of a dusty look to them. I also like that when the kindle “sleeps” or is off that it pops up a colorful image. I’ve gotten lots of cute images whenever I turn off the kindle. I’ve also noticed that when the kindle is off (not completely powered off) it still conserved the battery power pretty good. It also doesn’t take long to turn on even with it being fully off, if you turn it off on a page or chapter it will stay on it when you turn it back on.
