AmLactin uses a pH-balanced form of Lactic Acid, which is why this scent might be unique compared to other products containing Lactic Acid. This lotion is amazing, I love it! Yes it’s stinky but that doesn’t warrant a 1 star because this lotion is very effective! Technically it is unscented. They don’t add fragrance to this product. It’s stinky naturally. I love that it can be used all over the body even the face. Be careful first time using it on face though it may burn so only leave it on for a few min at first and if it burns wash it off. Gradually leave it on longer. It leaves my face so clear and glowy the next day. My skin feels so soft and yes it does reduce KP (chicken skin)

I have used this Intensive Healing Cream for two years. It clears my skin of eczema rashes if I use it twice a day, usually clearing the rash within three days. Wonderfully effective.

I am a huge fan of Amlactin which was recommended by my dermatologist. It makes my skin so smooth and really helps with sun damage from my younger days. What I find fascinating is all these comments about the smell because I don't smell a thing! I am beginning to wonder if there is some "Amlactin sensitivity" gene I gladly did not inherit.

It kind of smells like maple syrup but not in a good way. Due to the scent I’ll only be using it on my feet. It is definitely worth the try if you struggle with dry skin.

Not like some moisturizers where they appear thick but once you rub them in they kind of spread and become thinner. This cream is thick all the way through. Pictured is my arm before I used the cream, so dry and flaky. Then after, just one use, my skin was literally shining. Even 24 hours after one use, my skin is still so moisturized. I will say it has a kind of “nutty” smell. It’s not bad and not great necessarily but just kind of odd. Luckily the smell doesn’t last once it’s on your skin. Compared to the moisturizing effect it has on my skin though, I will take the smell any day.

It goes on very smooth and does not leave a greasy or oily feeling which made me happy. It has helped too moisturize those dry patches, hiwever, I restrict the use of it to my heels because I find the scent to be unpleasant. It has a strange odor like old bacon or something. Despite the odor, which is faint, I will use it all up and may even purchase it in the future and will recommend it to friends but I will mention the scent. The full size sample was very impressive and generous.
