They’ve changed the ingredients and is no different than the blue box Mac n cheese except for just more expensive price. They’ve changed it at least twice now will no longer be buying.

New recipe doesn't satisfy

The new recipe omitting butter is terrible :(. The sauce is runny and doesn't taste as cheesy as it used to. (ironically the boxes with the new recipe used to say NOW CHEESIER) I even had to add some shredded cheese to make up for it. This has been my go-to meal since I quit eating meat when I was 16 back in 2006. Makes me so sad that I probably won't continue to purchase.

Corn allergies suck - 1 month ago

WAS good. WAS. Please for the love of all things good in this world, change back to the ingredients it used to be. This new and "improved" recipe is untouchable for anyone with a corn allergy. You use to be the only box max n cheese we could get. My hubby and daughter can't eat corn or corn byproducts (cornstarch, dextrose, cornsyrup, HFCS, white vinegar. Etc. Anything that is made from corn or could be made from corn if the source isn't listed) Your ingredients used to be clean, simple, and safe. We can no longer purchase your products. It isn't a boycott; it's survival.

CHANGE THE RECIPE BACK

I’ve been eating this mac and cheese since I was literally 2 years old. It’s always been my favorite and i eat a box probably once a week. To say I’m devastated over the recipe change is an understatement. It tastes NOTHING like it used to. I’m never buying again unless you change the recipe back. Switching to Kraft.

I used to buy 12 pack of this Mac and cheese. They changed the recipe with “now cheesier” and it smells and tastes terrible. So sad PLEASE bring the old recipe back. Don’t try the new recipe.

Used to like this product. They use toxic chemicals like phthalates….and tried to pass it off as if it’s not harmful to us…the flavor has also changed as well as the pasta. It’s cheaper. Anyone looking for honest reviews…here it is. Read and investigate the product and labels first!

Not pleased with the product. The cheese packet barely had anything in it so my kid's 'Mac and Cheese' was just 'Mac' without the 'Cheese'.

New recipe is a disappointment

Annie's got me through my college years, which is why the new recipe is such a letdown. It just tastes like any other generic cheap mac and cheese you can buy at the store. Not to mention the new texture is a nightmare. Until the original recipe returns I won't be buying another box.

Let me start by saying for the past 2 years, my family and I have eaten this stuff religiously. It was a much better tasting than other brands I’ve tried and the ingredients were much better too. But something changed a few months ago when you introduced the “Now cheesier” version. The taste is off putting, the furthest thing from a natural cheesy flavor. Not only that, I see that you no longer put “Now cheesier” on some of the boxes, and you just silently switched the ingredients anyway (corn starch in place of butter). Not only am I disappointed that you’re not listening to your customers who do not like this new version, but I feel like now you’re resorting to omitting the changes and tricking people into buying an inferior product. Please consider switching back, because you just lost another valued customer.

Your feedback is very important to us, and we understand how disappointing it can be when a favorite product changes. We appreciate your loyalty over the past years and deeply regret any inconvenience this has caused. Rest assured, your concerns will be passed along to our team for review. Silicon dioxide damages gut health

Oh wow. Daughter found a dark spot in a noodle. We opened it and it was a BUG. Seriously. But that’s not even why I will stop buying product. She has Crohn’s and we avoid artificial ingredients that damage gut lining. Silicon Dioxide! It damages immune cells, causing inflammation. Too bad. Will move to cheese powder from Hoosier Farms.

I usually buy single boxes, but decided to get a large box because both my son and I love the white cheddar. 2 stars because we love the food but you wouldn’t believe it! They only packed 10 boxes in 12 pack. I won’t be buying the big boxes again!

Product recipe has changed. Flavor is different and the orange color now stains clothes and will not come out. After years of spending extra for this product for the higher quality, we are moving on from Annie's. Its become like Kraft Mac n Cheese. No thank you.

I agree with the other reviews, I just picked up a new box in the store after not having it for some time and the new recipe taste awful. In this flavor and the white cheddar. When mixed the cheese up I cold smell a difference. The taste is not better at all. Hoping they change it back to the original recipe, otherwise I don't see myself buying their mac and cheese anymore.

It's true what others are saying, the box of Annie's Mac and cheese did not carry like it used to. Two kids tops and that's it. Annie's is all my kids will eat. I have one big complaint and concern-- the powdered cheese pouches are plastic bags and no longer paper bags. Absolutely not functional when you don't have a pair of Scissors, not recyclable and for a company that presents itself as an organic food companyand possibly one that cares about our planet and environment, the switch to plastic is really sad and it lowers the standards, in my opinion, of the company. Plastic is cheaper but why switch when you already have a good thing going with the paper!
