The filter change indicator is activated when the lid is opened for 5-8 seconds and measures water use by counting the number of times the reservoir is filled. I'm really happy with this water dispenser! The filter has a big capacity, so I don't need to refill it often. It's also super easy to use - just open the tap and pour. My kid can even get water by themselves, which is great. I also love the design. The gray lid matches my kitchen perfectly. And the best part? The water filters really fast!

I bought this product a few months ago, I have had an issue with it leaking in my fridge. I took apart the entire thing and even left it out on the counter, the leaking would not stop. I would definitely go with something else.

My first dispenser was leaking a lot so I replaced it thinking it was a problem with the nozzle. But even my replacement was leaking a little. Do not buy this unless you want your fridge to be soaked in water.

I bought this water dispenser just about 6 months ago. A couple of weeks ago, I pressed the status button for 1 second and released it as instructed, and nothing happened after doing this for a couple of minutes. I changed the filter and hit the reset button, as instructed, and nothing happened. I went to Brita's site to see if there were any troubleshooting tips, and there were none. This product has only a 90-day warranty, and it's only good if you bought it directly from Brita. I suggest checking the filter more frequently during Target's return period.

At first, my boyfriend and I were debating if we actually wanted this when we moved in since it was a little bit pricey. We realized quickly that it was worth every penny. We use it every day, and it fits perfectly in the fridge. The nozzle is great, and it gives us peace of mind about the water we drink. We fill it weekly, and it is a perfect addition to the kitchen.

As soon as I unwrapped it I realized it was broken. Some of the plastic chipped off the base. When I leave water in for more than a few hours it starts to taste like plastic.

The filter is doing *something* as the water tastes slightly less acidic than what comes out of the tap, but it very clearly still tastes like tap water. I usually buy five gallon jugs of water and thought this would help with plastic use and cost. I’m going back to prepackaged water because even with this filter the water still gives me heartburn.

Have the ultra max for a couple months now to replace a brita pitcher. The ultra max constantly drips from the spigot after any use, creating a flood inside the refrigerator. The leak makes this product useless, it’s very infuriating

At first this product was great, easy to fill and the filter runs quick. However, after about 3 months of use (not even) the spout now leaks and drips. Overnight spilled almost the entire dispenser full of water into our fridge ruining all the food on the bottom shelf. Cannot return as it is apparently out of the 90 day window (actually been 84 days).
