This review was collected as part of a promotion. I have used the Arm & Hammer Fresh Effects for 2 weeks. The first time I poured it into the litter box I noticed it was very powdery and had a nice floral smell. The smell was not offensive to me. Soon after the litter was put into the litter box on the first day, my cat urinated outside the box on the floor. I thought this could be because she was not used to a new litter with a new texture and odor. I left the litter in the box to see if she would get used to it, and there were no more accidents after the first day. I found that the litter was easy to scoop out of the litter box, the urine was absorbed well by the litter, and all odors were absorbed by the litter. The only negative is that the powdery litter comes out on her paws and lands on the floor next to the litter box. I would purchase it again.

It doesn't stick to my litter robot and doesn't have an overwhelming smell. The only drawback is the packaging makes it harder to pour, but because it is so lightweight, it isn't a huge problem #ad #sponsored

The litter is easy to sift through because it is lightweight. The cats transitioned from using the clay litter to this easily. #ad #sponsored

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is very lightweight and it is easy to pour into the litter box. It releases a fresh scent when pouring it into the litter box but it is not overpowering nor does it perfume the whole room which could be off-putting to cats. Odor is pretty well controlled, no urine smells although occasionally there are some poo odors as the litter doesn't completely cover/stick to solids. Urine clumps up great into little "hat" shapes that are easy to scoop from the box and don't crumble leaving bits behind in the box. One box of litter lasts a long time, after 3 weeks scooping daily there is still more than half the box left, even after adding 3-4 inches of litter to the box. No dust but it does stick to my cat's paws and track a bit outside the box, it is more of a finer texture than other litters. I think my cat prefers the Arm & Hammer Double Duty, maybe because of the larger grain texture. #ad

It clumped well and contained odor. No issues with my electric auto scooping cat litter box. I would highly recommend this product to others with kitties! #ad

The lightweight packaging helps with making it easier to change my cat's litter box. I am appreciating the odor control and how long it has been keeping that cat litter box smell out of my home. I always purchase clumping litter and this litter does not disappoint.

My cat also seems to like it as well. I will definitely buy this product again. Lightweight is the only kind of cat litter that I can use and I am always looking for this when I buy cat litter. The litter resembles sawdust to me, which would make sense as to how it’s so lightweight. I will say that it did stay in clumps which I was surprised by. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted a package of Arm & Hammer Fresh Effects Lightweight Clumping Cat Litter to try with our two cats. We prefer the Multi-Cat variety and were happy to not use a plastic container and that this is an easy to open and close container. We used the inches ruler printed on the side of the box as a guide for the amount of cat litter to add. We scoop out clumps daily and clean and refill the cat litter box monthly or as needed. Worth the investment and works great keeping the cat litter fresh for our cats.

I have used ARM & HAMMER litter for a long time, as I think it handles odors well and the packaging is more sustainable than some other brands. However, I’ve never tried a lightweight litter. I was always worried it would track everywhere and that I’d have to replace it more often. I have to say, I am very impressed with ARM & HAMMER’s lightweight litter. It does track a bit more than other litters, but it does an amazing job clumping and controlling odors. I also love the ease of how lightweight the package is. It has also lasted a really long time, despite being lightweight. I would definitely purchase this litter and recommend it to other cat owners. #sponsored #ad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Arm & Hammer SLIDE litter for the last few years, but gave this a try after receiving a free box. It is nice and lightweight, which is a plus, but is also scented, which we weren't used to. It also is the color of light wood (looks like shavings after cutting a 2x4) instead of gray like the SLIDE. The texture is also light, as you can actually see little cat footprint in it :) Our cat did not seem to notice a difference and used it easily with no problems. I prefer the unscented gray of the SLIDE and noticed this does stick a little bit to the litter box in a way that SLIDE does not. However, the lightweight of the box is big PRO. #sponsored

Found my forever purchase! I really loved the hardball litter and then I found this one because it said “fresh effects”. I’m all about the scented litters. My cat has no issues with using it. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase! I took one star off because of the price. I personally think $22 for litter is a bit absurd. However, I will continue to purchase lol.
