A: For kittens under 4 months old, please use non-clumping, pellet litter only. Kittens tend to explore the world with their mouth and, if they swallow clumping litter, it can cause a serious blockage.

A: Hi Michael, Yes, this is a clumping litter. You can remove clumps and solid waste daily to keep the rest of the litter fresh. More litter can be added to replace what you have scooped out. A: This Slide litter is so easy to scoop out both the urine and the poop. I have 3 cats and I scoop two litter boxes twice a day. I add fresh litter to the existing litter every 2-3 days. The scent is mild and very pleasant. My friends say they wouldn’t even know I have cats if they didn’t see them. I consider that to be a great compliment.
