Q: This product has specification listed that it up is made from clay, but the box says made from American grain. Are both true? I bought this because I found out clay-based litters contain lead & other toxins.

I bought this litter about a month and a half ago and I am thankful that I opted to try it. The level of absorption, the lightweight of the litter and it has a gentle scent that is not overpowering. I will not be going back to my other litter. Definitely recommend for cat parents!

It has some tracking issues, those are minor inconveniences compared to how well it performs in other areas. If you’re looking for a good litter that controls odors well, this one is definitely worth considering!

I tried this for the first time and won’t be using it again. It has a strong smell that I hate; I always use unscented. And my cats don’t like to go in it. Only one cat has actually used it, twice, and it does not make a hard clump. The ball of urine breaks up into little pieces. Now she won’t go in it anymore at all. Sorry, but it is a no for me and my cats.

I have been using this cat litter for about alittle over a year now. It definitely does the job: traps oders, dust free, clumps up amazingly. The ONLY downside and for that I don't give it a 5 star is the smell. Its powerful and a quite overwhelming. I really hope the company can create an unscented option or something less overwhelming, otherwise I'll need to swap it for another brand.

I’ve bought several boxes and really like it. Only downside is it doesn’t seem to cover solid waste as well, and with two adult cats that’s important.

We have always used traditional clay clumping litter. I hated the smell and the dust. When our old boy started having a large urine output, he would step in the wet spots before it clumped and I would have pawprints all over my floors. I have always like A&H products so gave this a shot because of the claim that it clumps fast. It's a very fine grain, so it does track a bit. But I don't have a complaint at all about the smell. It clumps great, barely sticks to the bottom of the litter box, and I can toss the scooped litter directly into my kitchen garbage can (#1 and #2 included) and can't smell it at all. My only complaint is that when I scoop, it doesn't shake off the excess on top as much as traditional litter. It's a bit harder to do so this might waste more litter than needed, but I don't feel like I'm going thru it at a ridiculous level. Have been using since September 2024 ish and never plan to switch back. Vacuums and sweeps up just fine.

We were disappointed with the other brands we were purchasing, not clumping as advertised sticking to the bottom of the litter box even when cleaning on a daily basis. Hardball was a complete game changer for us, it is an awesome product. It clumps as described, it is so easy when cleaning the litterbox, it comes up clumped and doesn't stick to the bottom of the litterbox. My daughter now uses this product for her little feline friends. I highly recommend this product.

We love this litter. It clumps the urine so it too can be scooped out along with the fecal matter. It does help with odor; I do scoop daily so this is usually not an issue anyway. There are some times, that no litter can help with odor based on what your cat is eliminating. I love that it is lightweight, so no struggling with transporting it. Since the litter doesn't come in a resealable bag (I get the large bag) I do transfer it to a bucket with a lid. I feel like my cats (2 boys) are happy with this litter and only one of them tracks it as he flies out of the litter box like a rocket when he is done with his business. Please don't discontinue this litter....I never want to go back to Ti*y C** again!

This is hands down the best cat litter we’ve ever used in 40 years of cat ownership. However, the delivery was terrible. The top foot of the box was completely ripped open down to the first box of litter. Miraculously, the two boxes of litter were intact. I don’t know why this box was chosen or not filled with packing material. Slava Ukraini!

We love it! Had to explain against the bad reviews. Scent. Maybe yall got the garden one but the regular one smells a lot better than poop and pee. You might be nose blind lol. Not clumping? You either don’t leave it alone long enough to clump or your cat has health issues. Cat doesn’t like it? You need to get gradually switch it out. Sticking? Maybe try a steel box. It works great with ours. We loved this. We have 4 cats and this works amazing. We also have all steel boxes so no issues sticking. We scoop later in the day so no mushy litter. I saw all these bad reviews and no way. I don’t agree with them at all. We are getting done with our usual litter and only using Hardball it’s amazing. I’m going to try out a small bag of garden bloom just to see if I like it.

I was buying the 7.5 lb box until Target stopped selling it in stores, which is seriously disappointing. I like the scent and it clumps well. I’m just really upset that if I need it, I have to have it shipped to my house now, which is highly inconvenient. Also, $21 is insane!
