A: Hello PK, Thank you for your question. We recommend the following: For Heat Therapy: Heat in the microwave for 60 seconds. Add increments of 30 seconds for additional warmth. DO NOT microwave for longer than instructed on box. Lightly touch test prior to use. Expect 8-10 minutes of gentle warm therapy per heating cycle. Reheating the product in the same session should be done after 2 hours. For Cold Therapy: Place wrap in a large bag and keep in freezer for at least 4 hours prior to use. Yes, 2 minutes in the microwave (we've done it before with zero issues) and today it caught fire and burned a hole and then spilled millions of little beady things all over the floor when we were trying to put it out an don't burn down the house. My old school corn bag that my son got me out of "good behavior points" in 7th grade math that the teacher made by hand is a better product. (And my son is now 25 years old)

Worked well until it burned. Got this for my mom for Xmas and shes only been using it a short time and followed the instructions on heating it. Giant hole burned through it causing all the beads to start spilling out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE my neck wrap. It is soft and shaped perfectly for the neck and shoulder area, which can get so tight and painful. The softness is so comforting when feeling unwell and the subtle lavender scent is so relaxing. It also has sooo many uses. When I have a headache, I use the hot wrap around my shoulders along with the cooled gel insert from the satin eye pillow over my eyes and I feel the intensity of the headache improve within around 10 minutes. It's also amazing for menstrual cramps. The size of the neck wrap is perfect for the abdomen area and can easily tuck it into the top of my pants so that it stays in position. The heat combined with the softness and scent is just *chefs kiss*.

I work outside in 100+ degree weather, so by the time I get home, I need to cool off. I also overheat during my cycle, which is miserable during the summer. I throw this into my chest freezer to chill all day while I'm at work, and then I'll toss it onto my neck and shoulders after I have a cool water rinse and dry off. I wouldn't recommend getting this wet. The thing I like so much about this wrap compared to a cold pack is that it's already wrapped in something soft, so you won't be applying a frozen wrap to bare skin. We know that applying frozen objects directly to skin can damage the cells after too much time, so this is a nice layer of protection with added weight. Plus, this is so much nicer than just throwing a wet towel over my neck and shoulders to cool off.

This is absolutely wonderful. It’s weighted, it smells like lavender, and it’s easily heated in a microwave to provide moist warmth. I only wish Target carried a heating pad that was this nice. Returning the $75 Sunbeam flimsy heating pad I bought with this.

Weighted and heat is amazing for relaxing! The lavender scent is mild and pleasant. I really like the aesthetics of this company and product. A little tight on my neck but not a problem because I just use it without the Velcro.

Good quality, should last awhile. Smell is mild. I have thoracic scoliosis and DDD, I found it to be just a little too heavy & stiff for my neck, but it actually can be used on different parts of the body, so I’ll keep it and use it (just not for my neck). I can heat it up and lay it across my abdomen and fall asleep with some relief and not have to worry about waking up with a hot flash or a potential burn from a heating pad. With that being said, heating it up takes a little longer than expected, it’s best do it in small increments while adjusting/turning it around so that it’s heated evenly.

I am very disappointed in this wrap. It has zero lavender smell and in fact smells quite gross when heated up. I did reach out to austra and while they were unable to do anything since this was purchased at Target they did offer to send me a free gift. I can't return this as the box was discarded. Bottom line make sure you sniff this before using.

I alternate between this and a neck heating pad which seems to be helping. Diagnosed with degenerative (mild) osteoarthritis of the neck,the pain and becomes uncomfortable when the temperature drops or when winter arrives. So far this wrap has helped relieve some of the pressure and soreness.

This weighted neck wrap and has been so amazing for me. I hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and this wrap makes that pain feel like it is melting away. The fabric is so soft and comfortable on my skin. The lavender scent is pleasant, but if you don’t like the smell of lavender, I do not recommend this product for you. This wrap feels amazing after sixty seconds of microwave time. I feel like I could fall asleep when using it, is so comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend this cozy weighted neck wrap.

As a person that sits at a computer all day, this Asutra Cozy Weighted Neck Warmer Aromatherapy Wrap really comes in handy. It provides hot and cold therapy with lavender aromatherapy. For hot, you warm it in the microwave. For cold, you freeze it. Very simple to use. The shape makes it fit perfectly around you neck and upper back/shoulders. It comes with Velcro to help stay in place, making it hands free. You really get the lavender aroma when you warm it. I like to use it most before bed, as the lavender helps me to relax.
