Description
A 100% mineral sunscreen that features UVA/UVB filters and powerful antioxidant protection in a lightweight emulsion. This Multi-Defense formula defends against UV rays, pollution and blue light while providing skin with up to a 200% boost of antioxidant protection.* *In-vitro measure of antioxidant activity after being exposed to 2MED of UV.

Q: I just ordered this from target and it comes out as water with white flecks in it. Is this sunscreen supposed to be that watery? I'm concerned I got a bad one.

This is simply the best mineral sunscreen. I love that it is Zinc only. I love how it's liquid and glides over my skin, making it glow. Super lightweight, perfect to use alone in the warmer months and on top of a moisturizer, such as the tolerance line, in winter. I have sensitive rosacea skin and this works for me.

Unfortunately I didn't love this. I experienced a pretty big sensitivity reaction and pilling on my skin, and dryness later in the day. The scent is very off-putting. The bottle is poorly designed for the liquid texture -it bottle will only stand upside down with the cap on, so one must dispense into one hand, then use both hands to screw the cap back on without dripping in order to put the bottle down and apply. I loved the Antirougeurs sunscreen so much, but since it's no longer available I will keep searching for a replacement. This is not it :(

I used this last summer, and was simply amazed with the product. It had a nice lightweight feel to it, and left my skin with an almost pearlescent glow. It was really nice & caused no irritation. I was actually looking forward to using it again this past summer, so I purchased a new bottle, but it is simply not the same. I have been using it for the last couple of months and while it’s still light weight, it’s much more watery than before. I am also finding that this bottle doesn’t give me the pearlescent look, but rather a chalky white coated look to my skin. It still feels fine, but goes on a bit more oily almost. Based on this experience, I don’t know that I will buy this again. Quite sad as I was so impressed with the initial bottle.

This sunscreen is watery so goes on without a greasy or heavy feel. With fair skin, it is perhaps not as noticeable at first, but does blend in quickly. Use foundation on top of sunscreen that is also SPF so feel protected (important b/c melanoma survivor!)

I applied it yesterday on my face, arms, and legs. It is fragrance free but smells like white glue. It is mineral-based, but it stung my face. It did not bother my arms and legs though. At the end of the day, my face become sensitive and has been red since then. I will stop using it on my face.

This is my holy grail sunscreen so far, and I’ve tried many mineral sunscreens. I have a pretty pale/cool tone complexion, but even with a little tan, it doesn’t leave any sort of white cast on me. It rubs in well and doesn’t leave a greasy, chalky, or sticky finish. At first, there is a bit of an oily finish, but if you let it sit for about 10 minutes, it soaks in, at least on my face lol. My skin tends to be pretty dry, so for me, it’s a great texture. The best part is my makeup goes on over it well. I wear the L’Oréal BB Cream on top. I may have a little creasing under my eyes at first, but nothing a little setting powder can’t fix. I actually think the hydrating formula makes the finish on my makeup look better. I should mention that I have very eczema-prone and sensitive skin, and this has never irritated me. I’ve even put it on skin that was already irritated/broken with a rash by a different product, and it did not cause any further irritation. My kids aren’t fans of getting sunscreen on their faces, and they tolerated this really well at the beach. I love and will continue to repurchase this sunscreen, as it’s a pretty good price, compared to others on the market. It’s way less greasy than Cotz, and I just can’t find one I like more. I highly recommend it!
