Description
The Avalon Hot/Cold Water Cooler is made with innovation and style. The easy-to-use paddle spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water to come out. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. The water dispensing area measures 9x3.25x10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles. The dimensions are 11.25x10x42 inches. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star.

A: All of the plastics that come in contact with water in our systems are BPA free and certified. Our tanks are made from high grade stainless steel 304, which is inherently BPA free. The hot tank heating element is composed of 316 stainless steel coils which helps reduce bacteria growth.

A: Hi benw. This model does not use filters. This water cooler requires any standard 3-5 gallon jug.

Q: Does the top white cylinder come off? I need it to detach from the cooler to place my water filtration system. The top needs to be flat, not elevated.

Q: Will any 5 gallon or 3 gallon jug work for this? I have read that some brands like Primo require specific jugs to fit the dispenser. But I already have some jugs from Water and Ice!
