If I could give this new formula a zero stars I would. This does nothing for my skin, not soothing of anything. Why would you discontinue the old formula. It was clearly a hit. This is as a poor strategic move and has rendered nothing but very upset customers. I used the lotion too and where did that go!?! And would recommend to everyone. The entire positively line was clearly a hit. Who made the decision to take that off the market? Honestly, they have done nothing but hurt the company and the bottom line. I would at this point listen to what the consumers actually want…

After a long day at work (12 hrs) or the day before work I love to use this… the lavender scent thoroughly relaxes you for a good nights sleep or to de stress after a long hectic day!

They uses clean ingredients in this product that make my skin feel great after using. No irritation or allergic reaction. I love the mild scent, not too strong of lavender which is really nice. It's on the thicker side so a little bit goes a long way.

I had used this product and many others since I was a child. As of late I have begun to break out in hives and become allergic to all the products. They used to be my favorite thing, but now I am unable to use any.

Barely lathers with a loofah! I was really looking forward to trying this as I love the SPF 30 face lotion and the scent smelled relaxing out of the bottle. However, huge disappointment when there was barely any lather and I had to use another body wash to get through my shower. Will be returning for a refund.

I bought the new formula this past weekend and there is no comparison to the original. I've been purchasing the original for close to 20 years. I will move on to finding a different product, I can't believe the terrible choice you made changing the formula and whomever thought this stunt was a good move should be fired!

Aveeno Stress Relief Body wash is our go to on days we need a good reset. The lavender and chamomile fragrance is so pleasant and soothing. The soap is gentle , I use it for my toddler. The wash keeps skin hydrated after wash. I like to follow with the stress relief moisturizer too…

Like with the lotion, the body wash was also reformulated. And for the worse. The scent is like a strong medicinal artificial lavender smell. I was in shock at how AWFUL it smelled. I immediately TRASHED the bottle. The original formula was a thick creamy consistency that was a light cream color with what looked like a shimmer to it. The new formula isn't as thick or creamy; it's a gel-like consistency that is almost clear-looking but yellow, it's honestly gross-looking. I always have personal items stocked up, so it is only now that I purchased the lotion and shower gel, and I cannot believe the changes made. I have been a customer for more than 10 years, I believe 15, and you've lost me. To save money? Okay, sure, but looks like you're losing a lot of other customers in the process based on the reviews below. How is that logical? And guess what, if for whatever reason you ever do bring back the old formula, no thank you, I will move on to another company that doesn't pull stunts like this. Goodbye!

I've been buying Aveeno stress relief body wash for years and have loved it. Recently I ran out and picked up a new bottle that looks exactly like the image with the large pump version - labeled "new formula" and I'm pretty sure I'm just going to throw it away. I cannot stand the smell, it smells like cleaner or something I can't quite put my finger on. Regardless, it's very off-putting and I'm upset it's changed. I'll be looking for a new wash.
