i love the scent and how it has calming effects i always feel refreshed and soothed after my showers ! it makes my skin very soft and leaves a lavender scent

I bought the new formula this past weekend and there is no comparison to the original. I've been purchasing the original for close to 20 years. I will move on to finding a different product, I can't believe the terrible choice you made changing the formula and whomever thought this stunt was a good move should be fired!

Aveeno Stress Relief Body wash is our go to on days we need a good reset. The lavender and chamomile fragrance is so pleasant and soothing. The soap is gentle , I use it for my toddler. The wash keeps skin hydrated after wash. I like to follow with the stress relief moisturizer too…

Like with the lotion, the body wash was also reformulated. And for the worse. The scent is like a strong medicinal artificial lavender smell. I was in shock at how AWFUL it smelled. I immediately TRASHED the bottle. The original formula was a thick creamy consistency that was a light cream color with what looked like a shimmer to it. The new formula isn't as thick or creamy; it's a gel-like consistency that is almost clear-looking but yellow, it's honestly gross-looking. I always have personal items stocked up, so it is only now that I purchased the lotion and shower gel, and I cannot believe the changes made. I have been a customer for more than 10 years, I believe 15, and you've lost me. To save money? Okay, sure, but looks like you're losing a lot of other customers in the process based on the reviews below. How is that logical? And guess what, if for whatever reason you ever do bring back the old formula, no thank you, I will move on to another company that doesn't pull stunts like this. Goodbye!

I've been buying Aveeno stress relief body wash for years and have loved it. Recently I ran out and picked up a new bottle that looks exactly like the image with the large pump version - labeled "new formula" and I'm pretty sure I'm just going to throw it away. I cannot stand the smell, it smells like cleaner or something I can't quite put my finger on. Regardless, it's very off-putting and I'm upset it's changed. I'll be looking for a new wash.

This is my favorite body wash! It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated! It smells great and is affordable! I also love the way it’s packaged, it makes it so easy to use!

I was given this product before I had my daughter and I LOVE the scent. It wasn’t too thick, didn’t leave a weird residue on my hands which I’m super weird about.

This is an excellent body shampoo - very gentle and the smell is simply soothing. The body after the shower is soft and tender - we love it with the whole family.

It was my favorite body wash and lotion for years, but since the formula change I have moved on to another product. The new stuff is garbage and what little smell there is smells bad. You've lost a customer.

My go to body wash. Is it the cleanest option out there? No. But it isn’t the worst. It’s good on my sensitive skin - leaves it soft. Smells good. Relaxing scent

This wash has such an incredible smell to it. Such a calming wash that would make any bedtime routine a solid one! Aveeno is such an affordable brand and is always in rotation.

New formula is VERY disappointing! If you think you need a version for sensitive skin, you could offer it in addition to the regular stress relief lotion with camomile and ylang oils (loved by so many of us). PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA. Sellers are still using the old images but filling orders with the new formula lotion. This situation you have created is very stressful.

Hopping on to echo what everyone else is saying, the product change was a bad one. It’s not even really the same product, they should’ve marketed it as a whole new line. I used this body wash for nearly 10 years, and have spent the last year trying to replace what was once a holy grail product. The new formulation breaks me out, smells like baby wash, and has a different texture/lather. I actually use what I have left from the “bad bottle” I bought to clean my dogs muddy paws. Smells similar to a puppy shampoo he used to have and it doesn’t seem to irritate his skin like it does mine. I laughed when I saw the disclaimer on the product page about the change, because based on the other reviews for the past year+, aveeno clearly doesn’t care about customer feedback beyond some corporate bs that contradicts what over half the reviews are saying. If the reformulation was meant to be an improvement, why are you losing so many customers?

I’ve used products from this brand in the past sunscreen and body lotion and those worked great so when I needed a new body wash I decided to try this out. The packaging was very simple and directions easy to understand. This product has good ingredients and a good scent and is very moisturizing not drying. And the texture feels very nice.

I do not like the new scent. It doesn't smell nice at all in my opinion. I really miss the old scent. I bought that body wash for YEARS.
