[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As parents, our goal is always buy toys that are either educational or will keep our kids entertained for an extended period of time. With this toy, my son was excited to open it, but nothing beyond that. At his age (6 years old) he's not really into collectibles yet. It was a bit interesting, but I would definitely recommend for older children.

They love battling it out with their previously owned bakugan and this one I received, which was "butterclaw" is often fought over. This bakugan Is a dragonoid crab. The packaging was very enticing ! My kids enjoyed that the magnet on it was strong as some of their previously owned bakugans wore down over time. I'll have to purchase more from this series so the battles can continue!

They thought it was interesting and really like that it opens up when stuck to the magnetized card it comes with. The kids don't like how easily it splits in two. Upon further reading, I understand that it splits in two so that you can combine with other Bakugans to make yours customized. Since we were only given one Bakugan, we were unable to do this. We're also unable to battle with only one. It's unfortunate that the benefits of this toy are all sold separately.

My kids already have several bakugan, so they knew to use the magnet card to open it from a ball to character. What made this different was it came in 2 pieces (halves). You put them together and it functions like the other bakugans. It fits nicely into their bakugan cases as the ball size is the same. When they get older, we look forward to playing the game with it.

It was really fun the first 5 mins as the toy transformed. But soon after it broke. The quality isn't that great, therefore, I don't think I will be purchasing this toy for my son. Good thing we were able to try before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If youre a person who wants a Bakugan that opens fully on its own, this wouldnt be for you. You have to pull the legs out on your own. Its really cool that you can mix and match the different halves - it lets you be creative.

Its visually appealing with its colors, we were impressed it stuck to its card. Only down side was that its legs didnt come out. My son still had a blast and we would definitely get him more!
