I gave as a birthday present, she loved the color. Unfortunately we do not believe the wood is bamboo. They're not very versatile in the kitchen. They're good only to stir with, not handy for trying to scoop or pick things up.

The pictures are pretty accurate on colors and design, but I thought the spoon wells would be a LOT deeper than the rather flat spoons I got. I also expected the spatulas to have more bend in the head. As they are, it can be hard to get into pans and under food with the spatulas.
