The shipping box arrived damaged with a hole on the outside and the doll's box was also damaged having been crushed around the edges. It appeared as though it has been opened and retaped. It was not acceptable to give as a new gift. The doll itself looks ok but only "twinkles" for a few seconds before the light goes out each time. I live 50 miles from a store so I will probably keep the doll.

Would Target Put items in a BAG!!!!!! So sick of picking up at drive up and 10 items are loosely tossed in my trunk! NO bag. If it’s a Barbie it is probably a gift, if there are 10’ items I probably need to carry from car to house ….so a bag might be helpful!!!!!!!!!!!? Happens at both Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti stores … such lazy thoughtlessness

I purchased this as a gift for a friends daughter... i am a huge Barbie fan. one of my fondest memory was my first pretty in pink Barbie a zillion years ago!!! I was very disappointed with this Barbie - light sequence was so short - blink and miss it. and the quality is simply not there. her clothes were nice but her body and some limitations not great. I expect a lot more from Barbie and this just felt "cheap" and so I will never buy another Barbie on line again - learned my lesson on this one.

The way it lights up leads to magical play and my daughter loves playing with it at bedtime while I read her her Barbie fairytale book with the lights dimmed. Due to the way it lights up and the positions your child can move the doll it is not just a normal Barbie doll!

My little ballerina loves that this doll can be moved about in the different ballet positions. I love that the leotard is part of the doll so there are less little pieces of clothing to keep up with and less unclothed Barbies lying around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to trial out this item. This Barbie has a lot of great features compared to some of the other Barbie’s that my daughter has - it lights up and has a few different light sequences and it is super pose-able so you are able to put the doll into lots of different positions, a great toy for any child who is into ballet or dance class. Other great features for this doll is the attention to detail, the Barbie has her hair in a neat ballerina bun and is wearing a stylish tutu with a plastic top. The features that we weren’t too keen on for this doll was that she has a fixed position on her feet which means that you can’t stand up this doll like you can other Barbie’s and it also means if you are using this in some other Barbie accessories such as the Barbie car then it can be a little tricky, also we felt that the light sequence could go on for a little longer. All in all my daughter has enjoyed playing with this Barbie.
