Barbie Signature Aaliyah 11.5" Collectible Doll in Black Faux Leather Outfit

Purchases this doll for daughter-in-law & Granddaughter who are huge fans of AALIYA! When they first went for sale, the doll was gone FAST. I made attempts to find but people who had purchased gauged the price. TARGET sold out but offered to send me an alert via email once they restocked. It took over a month but they honored the offer and SAVED THE DAY!! I immediately purchased on line, they sent it, packaged it securely and I was able to gift it to them. They were so surprised and happy. Thanks TARGET, GREAT JOB!!

I absolutely love this beautiful doll ! She looks just like the original Aaliyah ! I wish they kept her in stock all the time ! As it took me 3 or 4wks to get her due to it being out of stock ! Hopefully I can order a few more once they restock her ! A must have for all doll collectors !

Finally got my girl! I’ve been on the hunt since the drop date 1/16 stayed up to midnight, no luck went to 5 different Target’s no luck! Saw someone post on FB to check their website early in the morning and I was able to order her at 6:36AM eastern time on March 3, 2025 and she arrived 3-6-2025 in perfect condition. I’m so glad I didn’t give up my search and become discouraged. I was always a fan of hers and I finally secured my first doll.

Absolutely loved it, We waited a while but we'll never let it go. The Aaliyah Barbie is an instant classic.

I absolutely love her.I am a fan of course. Aaliyah's death was a tragedy. And left us heartbroken. Her life cut very short. Glad her legacy is not forgotten. And this doll is a beautiful reminder of the amazing Star also Princess of R&B we miss. May Aaliyah continue to shine down on us through the music and movies she left behind to cherish.

HARD TIME FINDING STAFF NOT HELPFUL MISLEADING INFO FROM STORE EMPLOYEES AND THEN TRYING TO FIND ONLINE

I didn't fall prey to 3rd party retailers to buy an overpriced doll. The tribute doll is a compliment to Aaliyah. Last week, I happened to be Target website, and noticed doll was available for sale. I immediately ordered it on March 3, and told others on social media to order ASAP. The package arrived on March 8.

Ordered one online for pickup and when I went to go pick up her Aaliyah up They had another one in the back so I was able to purchase one in store.. glad I did The first one was for my mother and she loved her and the other one I just put on a shelf for display

First off, let me say that my five star review is for Baby Girl’s Doll NOT for Target due to the highly unorganized rollout of this doll. I was one of the true fans who stayed up until midnight in the “suppose” drop date only to be let down by the “coming soon” immediately turning into “sold out” with no chance of even adding her to the cart! Well I kept coming back and checking randomly and one day I saw someone’s review to check in the early morning hours. I happened to wake up around 4 am last week and had an urge to check thinking I would be out of luck yet again BUT I was so in luck! I hit add to cart so fast and checked out even faster! I was so ecstatic that I was able to purchase, but I held my breath until she actually shipped (cuz I’d heard horror stories of canceled orders). I just got her today and she is soooo beautiful and very much a true Baby Girl tribute! She looks so much like her! I’m so grateful and I wish all of the true fans luck - be patient and keep checking back! You’ll eventually get one!

Super Excited to FINALLY Get Her! My Online Target Order Was Cancelled At Least 3 Times. I Only Wanted 1 And NOT Multiple Like Bot Scalpers. Target Needs To Do Better And Get Rid of 3rd Party Sellers/Bots

THANK THE HEAVENS I didn’t cave and buy from a reseller. I had notifications on for her when she came back in stock and she came up for shipping at 4a a couple days ago for me! She just came and is perfect. Aaliyah was my whole childhood, and my first true devestation when she passed away when I was 15. I grew up listening to her, and still continue to this day. Truly a beautiful Barbie tribute to her, bravo Mattel.

Gorgeous doll. Expensive, but worth it. Awful rollout. The experience of trying to buy this doll has been ABSURD. Target.com selling out immediately, stores "with stock" not having any on release day, notifications for restock not being sent, people going online at 3 AM to buy the one or two dolls that were restocked regularly?! Insanity. I was able to get one last week when someone "returned 3" to a random store 35 miles away. I have to assume this person was a reseller and disappointed that they were not as valuable as they'd intended. Now (3/4/25), it seems like a large quantity are available for shipping. So, the hunt is over. Enjoy Aaliyah as she was meant to be - simply by adding to cart.

Mattel .... Barbie ... yal did a BIG one with this one ! She is absolutely beautiful! Looks just like her !! The detail in this doll .... from the hair over the eye ... to her black polish to the belly piercing is insane ! Glad I finally got her.

Took a month but finally got 1. Happen to get online and a local store had 2. Never got an alert or notification that any stores has any.
